Hey world I barely ever post on here but YOUR GIRL GOT A PROFESSIONAL INTERNSHIP!!!
Just applied for the Engineering Professional Internship at WDW!
And got an email back from the connection I have in that department. Hopefully it all goes well! That makes 7 total PI’s I’ve applied for. Time to start waiting…
@DisneyInterns these are all the PIs I’ve applied for. All I need is ONE. Just 1! #DisneyPI #AlmostThere
I wrote a blog for Disney Internships & Programs!
Read it! Tell me what you think! Comment with your own DCP Bucket List items!
Professional Internship recruitment season is upon us, which also means it’s portfolio perfecting season for those applying to many of the creative opportunities within The Walt Disney Company.
I wrote a thing for the Disney Internships & Programs Blog. I hope someone in the world finds it helpful. :)
I have my schedule for the first 7 days
I am so excited to join the Disney ASE professional intern team! It’s going to be incredible. I have traditions, welcome to ops, DAKlimation/costuming, then on-the-job training!
Week 1!
I can’t believe it’s been a whole week since I moved to Florida to begin my professional internship!
Last Wednesday, I had my casting appointment and moved in to Falcon Square! I love my new apartment, and I can’t wait for the rest of my roommates to move in tomorrow!
Mom and I went to Universal the next day! I saw Diagon Alley for the first time, and it was absolutely breathtaking.
The following day we went to Magic Kingdom and stayed til close. It was 100% worth being exhausted for Traditions the next morning.
Then I had Traditions the next morning, which was strangely long, but I got to meet other PIs. Also, this is my first name tag that doesn’t say University of Georgia :(
After Traditions on Saturday, I had Sunday off. I used my day to finish unpacking before I got to see one of my roommates from my first College Program! She lives just down the road from me now and works in entertainment, We grabbed lunch, ran some errands, put together some furniture before hanging out at Disney Spring (I finally got to Sprinkles!) and returning to my favorite place - Jellyrolls!
I’ve spent the last couple days training in my new role as a College and International Programs Education Professional Intern. I love my new leaders, and it’s been so much fun getting to know the instructors of college program courses as well as my new co-workers. It’s also strange to be on College Program Housing properties while I’m not a College Program participant. I absolutely love my role so far, and I can’t wait to see what this semester has in store for me!
Lots of exciting things this week as I moved to Orlando, visited Universal and Magic Kingdom, and attended Traditions! Pictures and a post to come! So excited to start at my location tomorrow!
