I applied for an internship with Disney that would have been the perfect for my career. It was literally in the specific area of my very broad Masters degree in Museum Studies, a degree that I didn't think is useful with Disney. Despite having a great GPA, aspirations for that field, and meeting the qualifications, I found out today that I didn't even get an interview. I wanted it so badly and I doubt the chance will come again. I'm absolutely devastated and don't know what to do now.

I applied to the Disney College Program for the first time.

Months prior to applying I was advised to take one college course. The program requires that all applicants either take at least 1 college course worth 3 college credits or be a recent graduate (within 6 months) A year had already passed since I graduated so I enrolled in a class at Black Hawk College. Estudié español por un semestre. (I studied Spanish for a semester.)

My instructor was awesome! I took Spanish 1 & 2 from her. Although I took 3 years of Spanish in high school and I’m Mexican on my dad’s side I was very rusty!

Walt Disney World recently replaced it’s Magic Kingdom night time fire works show called ‘Wishes’ which ran from October 9, 2003 to May 11, 2017. While fans were sad to see it go ‘Happily Ever After’ looks fantastic! The imagineers always outdo themselves. It is primarily a laser show that is paired with with contemporary disney songs sung by Jordan Fisher & Angie Keilhauer.
