I have my schedule for the first 7 days
I am so excited to join the Disney ASE professional intern team! It’s going to be incredible. I have traditions, welcome to ops, DAKlimation/costuming, then on-the-job training!

My mickey ears are just waiting to be unpacked and worn weekly!
Only a few days left before I move into Falcon Square, have my casting appointment, and start Traditions! I can’t wait to begin this amazing new adventure :)
Less than 2 weeks till I leave for Orlando!
Casting.
OFFICIALLY A REHIRE OF THE WALT DISNEY COMPANY.
It may seem so silly, but today I was so excited to get to Casting and fill out paperwork. That’s right - paperwork. Sammy (my roommate) and I both had an appointment for 1 p.m. so naturally we got to Casting at 12:30 p.m. and got in line. Most of the Disney recruiters for Internships were there and it was nice to finally put faces to names! I met my recruiter John Stephenson and he was so nice!
We were explained the process of the day - background checks, Disney look guidelines, and i-9 documentation. We moved from one step to the next and the whole process probably took an hour.
It was such a different feeling being back in that building again, not overwhelmed, just strictly excitement fluttering throughout my body. It was so surreal. I didn’t realize how much I missed being a part of this company until I was reinserted back into the culture. It truly is a Disney family and I’m proud to be a member.
chasing your dreams is scary.
are PI applications starting to stress anyone else out yet?!
gotta keep on the grind and get these in by monday night.
Here we go! 2/11/14
Hi everyone! My name is Kate, and I'm graduating from college this May! To me, graduating is a scary though! Graduation. Moving On. Not going to school anymore. Starting to pay back student loans. Brand new adventures. What did I decide to do? Well, I love Disney, I've done two Disney College Programs, and I'm passionate about helping people. So I've applied for multiple Disney Professional Internships as well as a Disney College Program as a backup! I'm so excited for all the possibilities! Come follow me on my journey! :)
Has anyone done a WDWPI as a Music Business major? I was hoping some of you past PIs would point me in the direction of a good internship for my major.
Help me out?
