My Acer X203H monitor has been acting strange lately. It seems like it goes into hibernation (despite turning off those settings) every time my computer becomes inactive for a while. I’ll come back and see that my monitor won’t display even after waking up the machine with the keyboard/mouse. Instead the monitor status light will cycle from off to blue to a prolonged orange and will just keep doing this.

I still have no idea how to rectify this, as it seems to fix itself randomly, but I’ve found that unplugging the DVI cable from the tower (along with the monitor’s powercord) sometimes works. Sometimes it doesn’t and I have to restart my machine only for the monitor to do the same thing until I unplug the DVI connection once or multiple times.

Does anyone have any idea what’s going on? I’ve checked drivers, cords, etc. I haven’t changed anything about my system or the device properties yet it only recently began doing this.

Has anyone else's blog gone really weird? Neither mine, nor MarshmallowRose's pages are displaying correctly... I'm missing a background and some pokemon images, she's missing... everything...
