Diverging paths. One goes over, one goes under. Which will you pick?
Perhaps it doesn’t make a difference, and they both lead to the same place. Perhaps it will alter the course of the rest of your expedition. Once you choose, you can’t go back.
But you won’t know until you pick one. Stay safe out there🌲🧡🔜
Han catches sight of her first. He climbs the next six steps with eyes on her, like he’s approaching a stray cat.
“Rey,” he says. “This is my son, Ben.” Her eyes flicker to Kylo Ren, face pink, eyes wet, and gaze intent on her. Then back to Han. “He’s coming home.”
I remember before binge watching in America took off, I tried to explain to a coworker that even if anime fans are watching the same show, it's hard to discuss while avoiding spoilers, because we could all be at different points of the series. Some are watching an official release on cable (like Cartoon Network). Some are watching fansubs. Some are watching fansubs by a different group. Some are watching on Crunchyroll or torrents, almost immediately after an episode releases in Japan. Everyone is in different points and it's so difficult for everyone to be on the same wavelength.
Netflix and HBO streaming were just starting to pick up steam at the time. And so soon after that coworker conversation, I watched America descend into the same problem with streaming services. Fandoms are fractured, but sometimes it's just a matter of opening a conversation with other fans by asking how far along in a series they are. Or if they even care about spoilers. At least, that's my experience with how anime fans deal with it.
