The real reason most women don’t approach men first isn’t “divine femininity” or the idea that men are supposed to make the first move. It’s really because they’re not confident the specific guy they like finds them attractive enough, so they’d rather wait for him to approach first. If he does, they know the interest is already there. If he doesn’t, they never have to risk rejection. Sure, women get approached, but for most women it’s usually by men they aren’t interested in or are only somewhat interested in. That’s different from approaching the one man they actually want.
