They were one of my favorite bands in the emo post-hardcore/metalcore revival scene. They only put out two EPs during their short time as a band. Such is the case in DIY hardcore. See these bands while they're still here because most of the time, they break up very early on. RIP to the coolest band in Texas.

Also finally noticed after listening to this record for 25 years that this song recycles a riff from "By The Throat" which is on their first album. Weirdly, this song is not on all versions of The Rebel Sound Of Shit And Failure. It's on the original CD i got, not on the vinyl LP i bought years later, also not on the version available on bandcamp. Checking discogs, it's on some reissues and not on others. Weird. Anyway, it's prob my favorite Born Against track. Listen loud.
