Switch 2 has been officially announced. Here's the characters for Mario Kart 9 so far:

Apparently, there's going to be 24 characters per race, so here's who I think 12 more characters are:

But I think we're getting a minimum of ~30

With Dry Bones, Pink Gold Peach, King Boo, Nabbit, Shy Guy, King Bob-Omb, DK Jr. and Miis will also show up.

Returning Tracks will be the Tour Tracks that didn't make it to Deluxe and Toad's Factory.

We'll get 3 item slots and character customization, with at minimum 4 options per character.

Update: Saw Baby Daisy and Baby Rosalina in the trailer as well as several characters I already mentioned.

Some quirky classic enemies and an ape with a questionable identity. But he can drive a car!!!

Yep, more Donkey Kang Jr. games this time on the Atari 2600. Prepare for the most simple graphics that vaguely look like the characters they are supposed be. Oh! Don’t ya just love early 80′s graphics!
