hehe. i haven't posted anything on here in YEARS cause i stopped playing ts4 and switched to ts2 and didn't feel like sharing gameplay anymore sdkldkflf. but i still used this account for lurking in the community and whatnot.
i've created a lot of cc (mostly edits of others) for my own use over the years but i've never posted them publicly before. 😓 the main thing holding me back from sharing it all is the daunting task of making allll those preview pics... but i figured i can start small by participating in the GoS event this month.
the theme was "get schooled" so here's a cheerleader default for men and some backpack recolours. (and a mod edit, but i'll share that in a different post)

happy december ! this is a default replacement for the Adult Mrs Claus outfit from the holiday stuff pack :) i have never ever used that dress in my game haha so i thought it would be useful to replace it with a cute stylish christmas dress instead !
these are @katsurinssims recolours of this super cute 3t2 santa dress conversion - originally converted by @julietoon-ts2 with shoe swap by @totoasims! i've included three colour options for the default, red plaid, maple, and knit - you can only have one default at a time so if you want the rest of the recolours go to katsurin's post! she made a lot of very very cute ones not pictured here :)
I use a lot of skins. I'm also picky and like all my skins to have fitness states and wrinkles for elders. So here's something I created for myself that others might be interested in as well. More info under the cut.
What this is:
-Remix V2 given new defaults and regeneticized.
-Six of my favorite skins edited and with bodies repositoried to Remix V2 so that they all have fitness states and significant space is saved: Lilith's Eve, Lilith's Bloom, CuriousB's Skin Feeling, Nat's Bambi Expanded, my recolors of Whysims' Misc. Skin 37, and my recolors of Whysims' Misc. Skin 45.
Features:
-Four natural defaults using Remix V2: Light Rose for S1, Sunkissed for S2, Sunheat for S2, and Moonlit Night for S4.
-Alien default with the option of elder wrinkles or not.
-Mannequin default using AlmightyHat's Smoke Bomb action.
-Nine additional recolors of Remix V2 using Trapping's actions.
-Nondefaults are geneticized, but only Remix V2 is townified.
-Teens through elders have fitness states.
-Elders have wrinkles using skin details from LoosiaP and SimNopke.
-All skins feature teeth and tongue textures from SixFootSims.
Specification:
-Everything requires the Remix V2 defaults and customs.
-The repositoried skins use the same package files as the non-repositoried originals. You cannot have both in your game.
-I did not include every swatch from the original skins.
-The faces of the repositoried skins were edited to match the Remix V2 bodies.
-I made some minor edits to the repositoried skins to suit my liking. For example, reducing the shine onthe nose of Whysim's Misc. Skin 45.
-The bodies do not include sexyfeet compatibility. I mean, obviously you can use sexyfeet meshes with them, but there won't be toenails.

So I've been playing historical TS2 games lately and I like to switch my defaults pretty often. When I saw this mod by @episims I found a solution to my problem. I combined some of my favorite book texture mods by DecatSims2, iSimChi, Almighty Hat, FantasyRogue, and TheNinthWaveSims.
You need EpiSims More Book Covers Mod for this one to work. Add the file Epi_MoreBookCovers_Mod into your downloads folder along with my texture defaults and enjoy your new books! I tested it in game and it seems to be working fine, but if there's any issues let me know!

Clear(er) lenses for Maxis glasses & BG glasses repo'd addons

Default replacement for all (basegame) clear lenses glasses! Not 100% invisible, not as cloudy as before, perfect middle ground. Literally just taken from aviator glasses' lenses txmt.

Repo'd Maxis glasses addons. Silver colors for aviator, evenmorehip, noframe, thinrims (aka round), thinframe, and thickrims (which I forgot to screenshot) + black color for evenmorehip.
Evenmorehip, noframe and thinframe are for original ages only.
Aviator, thinrims (round) and thickrims are for original ages, or with all ages added (requires this for aviator, this for thickrims and this for round, T$R warning tho...)
EDIT: Of course i forgor, they also have clear(er) lenses. They are also decustomized and sorted next to their original versions. Also, I had to make a quick update to the file, as I messed up the sorting for the round glasses. I recommend to redownload if you already downloaded, but it's not necessary if you don't care that much about catalog sorting.

I would also very much recommend using Eyeglasses Unhidden by @simnopke with either of those, but it's not required.
by the way, if anyone can find or make noframe/thinframe for kids i would love you forever as i could only find them for toddlers....

A small collection of downloads for everyone! There are three of them.
The first two are some midcentury modern-style homes based around what’s called “Eichler homes”, after the architect who designed many of them.
The style features a central atrium with the house built around it. From what I saw, there were often high ceilings with exposed support beams, creating a light and airy atmosphere. Not the easist to build in-game, but it was a fun challenge and I think I did pretty well. I found real floorplans for a couple which I based them off of, but mirrored the plans due to garage weirdness. Each has 4 bedrooms with closets and 2 bathrooms.
Both are on 30x40 lots, and the price is around 62,000 for the red one and 58,000 for the yellow one.
Next are defaults for all the basegame “shortdress” outfits to make them nicer. I asked magical-girl-sandbox to help with the mesh and textures.
The pantyhose were removed and the heels have been swapped with low heels by @nekosayuri, and the Nightlife red dress was a mashup of those heels and this outfit by @artemida-sims. The elder version of the leopard print dress is hidden, but texture replaced for completion purposes.
