Electric and Internet are due again. Gas is off. I'm still applying for jobs but I haven't had an interview in a while and I think it's partly because of my mental state. I've recently been diagnosed with C-PTSD and am undergoing EMDR for it. I'm probably going to apply for SSI again sometime in July after I'm able to talk to a lawyer.
I haven't given up but I'm very stressed in general. I'm realizing my arm will be fucked up for a long time. It's been very painful because I severed a nerve. Psychosis, kids, not even once
My electric bill is $134 and my internet is $85. My gas is $212 to get it turned back on. I would appreciate any amount of help.

Hi! I downloaded your gen/town recolors of Whysim Misc skin 37 and I noticed that the YAF scalp has a pitch black texture. Weirdly, this only happens when your sim has a hair color that's binned as blonde, the scalp looks fine with other hair colors
Sorry, that was caused by a rogue property set that ended up in the files. Redownload the updated .zip from this link and let me know if the issue persists.
Hi! How can I change a skintone's genetic value? I switched my S1 default from Light Rose to the base/original tone and S2 from Sunkissed to Beach and now I need to edit the genetic values of the addon skins so that Light Rose and Sunkissed are seen as lighter than S1 and S2. I hope you understand what I mean, English is not my first language!
Your English is fine! You need SimPe to change the genetic value of skins.
1. Open the shade you want to change in SimPe.
2. Go to Resource Tree in the top right and click Skintone XML. Then click the name of the skin in the resource list on the right (usually something like Light/Tan/Dark.
3. Go to Plugin View in the bottom and click the line for Genetics. A text box will appear on the right where you can change the number of the genetic value.
4. Change the number to suit your desired genetic scale. Skintone values run between 0.01 (lightest) and 1.00 (darkest). S1 is 0.10, S2 is 0.30, S3 is 0.60, and S4 is 0.90. If you want your skin to be viewed by the game as lighter than S1, then the number needs to be <0.10. Likewise, if you want a skin to be darker than S1 but lighter than S2, the number will need to be anywhere from 0.11 to 0.29. It doesn’t matter what number you choose. That’s up to personal preference based on what skins you have in your game and how you want your genetic scale to look
I love @itsdiamondeyesuniverse's Less Fragile Smooth Hands edit, so I handswapped 82 meshes to include them.
This is just something I started doing for my own game and decided to share. I don't intend on making individual posts or taking preview pictures of each of the meshes. Instead, I'll just link my folder where you can individually download meshes:

Included are meshes by Amaryll, Trapping, @deedee-sims, Fanseelamb, @mdpthatsme, @platinumaspiration, @rented-space, Skittles Sims, Yuichen, Kayleigh, @virtualpeople, @gryning, JaRo, and Lovelace. The names of each creator are included in the mesh names. I put age conversions in the same folder as the original mesh creator. I didn't change any mesh names and only would if the original creator's name wasn't included.
THESE ARE JUST MESHES. The assumption is that if you download from this folder, you already have the original mesh and recolors and are just replacing the meshes. Some of these might have already been done before, but intense Googling didn't yield anything, so. Replacing Maxis hands with smooth hands adds about ~1800 polys. Unless you’re playing The Sims 2 on a TI 84 calculator, this will likely not negatively affect your game.
And yes, I will do more. I haven't even touched the meshes I have from Skell or Club Crimsyn.

Loaded up the game after a little hiatus. Jumping back into my legacy lot. Note: my playstyle is pretty boring for the most part, mostly focusing on creating a happy family with no one dying in an untimely manner or the kids being taken away by the social worker.
This is my current legacy heir, Priscilla. She just became an adult. Skipped college and has a lifetime want of reaching the top of the entertainment career.
She lives with her father, a cop and werewolf. Her mother just recently died, so the house is pretty quiet with just these two.
Out on the town to meet some new people. Her singing got boo'd :(

Successful flirting. Final score: great. Priscilla gets flowers and a sweet note.
Got invited on another date. Showed up in pajamas. Not sure where Lutz is.
She got stood up?! She doesn't seem to have a bad memory/relationship hit from this, but I'm mad on her behalf.
Stays at the diner anyway and meets some new people. Forgot I added Strangetown as a subhood until now.
When she arrives home, Dad's cooking up her favorite. Better luck next time.

these are replacement templates for all 27 faces and the hidden alien template. there is minimized differences between the female and male faces, and all faces have been edited to have more unity between ages. pollination tech is replaced by 28Alien and ideal plantsim is replaced by 26Eelf.
these were created using my old sims and templates i already had. credits are listed below.
these were inspired by @pooklet's september face templates. taken directly from their post, make sure to grab these fixes for faces 21 and 25 plus the unhidden alien template, and this mod that adds the alien and elf templates to the townie pool.
I use a lot of skins. I'm also picky and like all my skins to have fitness states and wrinkles for elders. So here's something I created for myself that others might be interested in as well. More info under the cut.
What this is:
-Remix V2 given new defaults and regeneticized.
-Six of my favorite skins edited and with bodies repositoried to Remix V2 so that they all have fitness states and significant space is saved: Lilith's Eve, Lilith's Bloom, CuriousB's Skin Feeling, Nat's Bambi Expanded, my recolors of Whysims' Misc. Skin 37, and my recolors of Whysims' Misc. Skin 45.
Features:
-Four natural defaults using Remix V2: Light Rose for S1, Sunkissed for S2, Sunheat for S2, and Moonlit Night for S4.
-Alien default with the option of elder wrinkles or not.
-Mannequin default using AlmightyHat's Smoke Bomb action.
-Nine additional recolors of Remix V2 using Trapping's actions.
-Nondefaults are geneticized, but only Remix V2 is townified.
-Teens through elders have fitness states.
-Elders have wrinkles using skin details from LoosiaP and SimNopke.
-All skins feature teeth and tongue textures from SixFootSims.
Specification:
-Everything requires the Remix V2 defaults and customs.
-The repositoried skins use the same package files as the non-repositoried originals. You cannot have both in your game.
-I did not include every swatch from the original skins.
-The faces of the repositoried skins were edited to match the Remix V2 bodies.
-I made some minor edits to the repositoried skins to suit my liking. For example, reducing the shine onthe nose of Whysim's Misc. Skin 45.
-The bodies do not include sexyfeet compatibility. I mean, obviously you can use sexyfeet meshes with them, but there won't be toenails.

Four meshes converted for these two bodyshapes + a buttload of extra recolors from various users. Delete what you don't want! These only come in a repositoried form, and the original, required AM files are included for convenience. AM meshes should all be Rented-Space's edits with morphs. Not BSOK'd because these shapes don't have BSOK icons as far as I know. Thin and fat morphs for both shapes are pictured.

Texture default for umtopshortsleevecollar using striped and chambray textures from Hedgecat recolored by me in some of Aelia's jewel tones. All the colors are on the darker side, but that’s the way I like it.
CM-EM. I replaced all 19 textures found in the game files, but only 16 shirts show up in bodyshop? Not sure if the others are hidden or what, but they're replaced!

Closer look at the 2 types of textures used (this is mainly just an excuse to show off my lovely model):
umtopvneckshortsleeve texture replacement using these tops by Fanseelamb. Made this because I have been loving @letomills' adult male mesh replacements, but I was not loving the bright Maxis textures, and I noticed that the Default Database did not have a texture replacement made for this top.
The top is available for AM, YM, TM, and CM (and CF if you use a recategorizer). The mesh pictured is LetoMill's. The green, blue, and red swatches were replaced with similar colors, and the orange was replaced with purple. I did not use Fanseelamb's black swatch, so you can download that separately if you wish or replace the default textures.
