Phase Spider Gauntlet

Wondrous Item, rare

“This single, leather gauntlet is made of the glowing, chitinous hide of a Phase Spider. Several of its eyes were meticulously harvested, preserved and embedded in the gauntlet to harness the space bending magical abilities of the monster.”

You can use an action to activate the power of this magic item and phase into the ethereal plane for up to 1 minute. During the duration of this feature you can use a Bonus Action to phase back and forth between your current plane and the Ethereal Plane. Once you use this feature you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest.

While on the Ethereal Plane, you can see and hear the plane you originated from, which is cast in shades of gray, and you can't see anything there more than 60 feet away. You can only affect and be affected by other creatures on the Ethereal Plane. Creatures that aren't there can't perceive you or interact with you, unless they have the ability to do so.

Amulet of Delusion

Wondrous Item, rare

“This amulet depicts a person from the waist up with a featureless face. A globe is beginning to emerge from their forehead, and their arms are outstretched over an open void below them that is dotted with stars.”

Whenever you cast a spell that deals Psychic damage, you can treat any 1 or 2 on a damage die as a 3.

Delusional Rebuke. You can take a Reaction to deal Psychic damage to a creature that makes an Intelligence (Investigation) or Wisdom (Perception) check to discern the truth of an illusion created by one of your spells and fails. The damage is equal to half your level plus the level of the spell slot used when cast.

Our newest Dungeons & Dragons subclass is here! The Paladin's Oath of Shadows!

The Oath of Shadows binds Paladins to the ideal of justice at any cost. They put aside the notion that one must take the high road or else they are no better than those they seek to bring to justice.

Paladins are often depicted as holy knights and warriors of virtue who uphold the law as shining examples of morality; the Oath of Shadows Paladin doesn’t care for the optics of their crusade or about recognition for their heroics.

Paladins who take this oath do so with the understanding that their tenants aren’t meant for attaining glory or renown but to make the world safer, even at the cost of their own reputation.

Thwart Evil Where it Thrives. Protect Without Praise. Justice By Any Means.

As an Oath of Shadows Paladin you can coalesce a wall of pure shadows to block off enemies, protect your allies, and confound any hostile creatures who attempt to breach it. Use the darkness to conceal yourself, overcome the usual disadvantage of noisy heavy armor, and bring swift retribution to those who harm the innocent from the places unseen.

Rose Thorn Circlet

Wondrous Item, rare, set (6) (requires attunement)

“Made for more fashion than function, this perfectly round circlet is made from pure silver, and has a decorative rose sculpted from a red alloy that sits just above the ear. The circlet has small thorns on it that point upward and outward so as not to harm the wearer.”

Your Charisma increases by 2, to a maximum of 20.

You have Advantage on saving throws you make to avoid or end the Charmed condition.

You can cast Charm Person (save DC 15) from this circlet. Once cast, you cannot cast it again until the next dawn.

Every Rose. This magic item is part of a set, the more of that set you wear, the stronger it becomes. For each piece of the set you are wearing, when you are hit by a melee attack you deal 1 Piercing damage to the attacker.

Armguard of the Fleeting Storm

Wondrous Item, rare (requires attunement)

“This piece of armor covers the entire arm from the shoulder to the hand and is made of a highly conductive metal. Adorned with evocation runes that channel lightning magic, it also has the breath of a dragon eel enchanted into the plates covering the shoulder.”

This armguard has 6 charges and regains all expended charges daily at dawn, or if you take Lightning or Thunder damage, you regain 1d4 - 1 expended charges.

Stormstrike. When you hit with an attack, you can expend any number of charges, dealing an extra 1d4 Lightning damage per charge expended.

Storm Cover. You can use a Magic action to expend 2 charges and gain Resistance to Lightning or Thunder damage for 1 minute.
