there is something morbidly funny about explaining your concerning symptoms to the NHS emergency services and still being told it’s a two hour wait to get an ambulance out to even see you.

#I know it’s not their fault #gallbladder attack this morning had me unable to walk or talk the pain was so bad #and then the cherry on the cake was it making me throw up and then choking on said vomit 🤪#I was able to right myself but it’s just been a terrifying morning #and to be told it’s a two hour wait for an ambulance + the likely three hour wait in A&E before ur even seen by a doctor #does not help #so I decided to just wait it out #fingers crossed but it’s eased up a lot #and the doctor who called me was lovely and has given me stronger pain meds and anti sickness tablets #though he recommended bed rest for a good while which I am bad at adhering to 😭#ok my rant is over nhs I love you but I do sometimes despair over your wait times
