dojima had his eyes on you first! without him, adachi would've never even met you! and while dojima never talked about his feelings for you with adachi, it was very obvious that dojima was into you
he'd often get visits from you during work, often for lunch or to pick him up for a date after work. and every time, adachi got more and more jealous…
adachi only really got to talk to you while you were waiting for dojima. but that little time he had with you was enough for him to grow obsessed with you! he knew he couldn't have you, but he wanted you anyways!
for a while, dojima didn't pick up on it. he saw you talk to adachi a few times and never questioned it. until eventually, he noticed how adachi was looking at you…
dojima tried to ignore adachi's crush on you, tried to just focus on you instead. until eventually, he snapped at his colleague, when he noticed him staring at you once again
“they're going out with me, adachi.” dojima coldly reminds his subordinate. “and i'd prefer if you'd keep a bit of a distance from them.”
adachi stuttered out an apology and denied everything, but it was just an act. in reality, he was furious with dojima for rubbing it under his nose that he got the one adachi wanted!
and even with dojima telling adachi to stay away from you, he had no intentions to listen to him! he would just have to be more sneaky now, if he wanted to steal you away from dojima…
