I just remembered I gotta finish doll inventory with all the dolls I got from last summer until now. I'll wait until I get that big late Christmas gift of dolls from my GF. When I get that I'll def. Be out of space for dolls (other than my frozen dolls).

I have been slowly working on my own doll inventory photos. It’ll be a long while before it's done, but I'm enjoying it so far. I picked this background since it seems to work pretty well with any doll, plus I can move the dolls around to put them against different colors. The only doll line I'm unsure about so far is the Capsule Chix. I've been switching their parts around quite a bit, so I don't really know if I have kind of a "final form" for them. I might end up cataloging them by their heads. I have a lot of other dolls I can do first though, so it's not like I have to be in a rush to figure it out.
I haven't been taking too many dolls out specifically for the inventory photos; I've moreso been taking these pics when I have the dolls out for other reasons (so a lot of the photos are of my newest dolls, but I'm getting around to older ones slowly). It's nice to look at each doll individually. Also, it gives me a good reason to give each doll a good dusting, and check if anyone's got glue head or staining going on or anything.
I want to post them in groups that make sense, and I have just finished up all my Hairdorables, so I thought I'd post those first. I really like the Hairdorables. I’m pretty sure I’ll end up getting more, but I’m definitely not going to try and complete any of the Series or anything. I would like to get one of each character, but as you can see, my luck with that is not going so well: three Harmonys, two Bellas, two Kalis, then one Skylar and one Neila ^^;
Inventory Part Fifteen
Francie is wearing the faraway forest kingdom wedding outfit and the og girl that came with the set is underneath.
I’m not even fixing anyone’s hair I’m so over this already hahaha, BUT I’m also farther along than I was last attempt. Progress!
I’ll make a big post on the doll blog either when I hit 10 images or end for the day, haven’t decided, if you want to just interact with a single post per day about this mess.
I need to take the double sided tape down and stick on Nos and Arrgonya’s wigs they were sliding around.
And I am not at all happy with how I had to do the tiny dolls. I don’t have any free stands in that size, they’re all being used by Hairdorables. I could take one down but..... I don’t care that much.

and they had cheap AG-like dolls for $20, called Kaisley and Friends Forever Friends.
They certainly looked like they were worth about $20. That’s as far as her eyes can open. I didn’t buy one at first, but then I kept thinking about her. Eventually I went back for her. There were a lot more styles than this one, but this one’s outfit is what had caught my eye.
Her clothes are really nice, other than her boots which were sticky plastic. I threw them away. I don’t do sticky.
I was surprised she had a cloth body, expecting hard plastic for the price. She wasn’t stuffed enough, and her head flopped.
Compared to Samantha, she has weirdly short calves and eerily similar arms. Pretty sure they cloned AG arms and then changed them a little bit.
Her hair isn’t great, and her vinyl feels cheap. I think this might be a good color match for Momo, though, so I might pick up another one.
It turned out her eye wells were miscast, and that caused her eyes to sit funny.
I decided to replace her sleep eyes with static eyes and nicer lashes. Her old lashes were crunchy and wiry.
To do that, I cut out the eyes from inside the head, which is a pain in the patoot, make no mistake.
And then I trim the eye well, giving her something more like a BJD eye well.
I still ended up having to cut her head open, though, because I couldn’t reach all the way up through her neck. That also sucked.
Her sleep eyes were cheap, but not unattractive. First I tried replacing the lashes with softer, narrower ones thinking maybe that would help her eyes open, but the misshapen eye wells still prevented the eyes from opening properly.
I’ve been doing this for how long, and I still am surprised at how big a doll’s eyes can be.
One issue I was determined to fix was her loose stuffing. After pushing it down more firmly, this much space opened up.
Curious whether she had the same kind of joints as AG, but no. She has some sort of plug socket thing going on. It works well enough.
I overstuffed her body the way it should be (that overflow at the top helps support the head) and replaced the zip tie with a cotton string.
When I first started dealing with AG dolls, I didn’t like the strings. But the more repairs I’ve done, the more I appreciate how easy removing and installing the head is with the string, and how soft the knot is compared to a lump of zip tie lock.
I ended up taking apart her sleep eyes and installing them static, with the same sort of softer lashes.
And I’ve already taken her inventory photo.
Doll Inventory Part 19: My Box of Frozen Dolls
These are My Later Disney store Frozen 1 Annas, My Frozen 2 Disney Store Annas, and all my Mattel Annas
- 1st Row Left & Right sides are my 2018 Disney Store Frozen 1 Anna Dolls with the newer Face, which I’m not the biggest Fan of. Long story short I inadvertently ended up with 2, so when I got the 2nd one (left), I decided to undo the hair on my first one (right), and later cut her hair shorter, which I feel looks a lot better. On it’s own it’s a cute face sculpt, but as Anna from Frozen it looks awful.
- 2nd row Left side is my Disney Store Frozen 2 Singing Anna doll. Rather than a button on her torso, you twist her wrist on her left arm to make her sing Part of “The next Right thing”, so one of her arms is fully articulated and the other isn’t. She also has Painted On leggings, though the Disney Store F2 Elsa Dolls have full cloth goods Leggings which is annoying. Also she has a ton of Styling Gel in her hair so she has Hella Curls
- 2nd row Right Side is a JCPenney Disney Collection Frozen 2 Anna doll that came in a 2 pack with Elsa. Like the other JCP Dolls she’s not as articulated, doesn’t even have the painted on leggings. She doesn’t Have that much Styling Gel in her hair so it looks a lot nicer. I prefer her to the singing one due to not being a sining doll and her nicer hair. There is another Disney Store Anna in her Travel outfit that come in the Big Deluxe Box set with Elsa, the Nokk, Kristoff, and Mattias. That Version has the Full Articulation, Painted on Leggings, and a Slightly different Face, I wanna try to get that version Eventually.
- 3rd Row Left Side is a Disney store F2 Prologue Anna that came in a 2 pack with Elsa. Her Hair Bun.. isn’t a bun like it is in the movie it’s this weird lip shaped thing that tucks into itself it’s weird. Also she has the ugliest Shoes i’ve ever seen on a doll, they’re disgusting. That Aside I do really like her
- 3rd row Right side is a 2013 Mattel Anna, one of the first Anna Dolls to come out I think. From what I understand, when they were making these dolls they were using older designs for the characters, and by the time the dolls were already done the designs changed and it was too late to change them. I’m not a fan of the molded on top at all, and i think the design is weird, at least in doll form. I’m missing her skirt, but overall I like her even if she doesn’t look like anna, especially with that face.
- 4th row Left side is one of the later Frozen 1 Anna Dolls with the updated Face. I do like her Face, it’s super, but it doesn’t look like anna that much.
- 4th row Right side is a Mattel Troll Wedding Anna that comes in set with kristoff, Olaf, and some of the Trolls.
- 6th row center is a Mattel Frozen Fever Anna with a Hideous Face, and a really bad default hairstyle covered in styling gel so it’s hard as rocks.
Did some inventory pics today, but now I have to actually inventory them and I’ve forgotten the numbers for all of the Fashionistas, of course...
