My basic G3 Toralei finally arrived...and her arm is fucked up. 🥲 I think maybe it's because of how she was packaged, but none of my other ghouls had any problems...

It might not be obvious but her right forearm is curved and the peg is bent slightly. I'm half wondering if I should complain to Mattel...

I found a perfect cheer Ruby with all her clothes at Goodwill. Her hair isn't even messy. The problem is she reeks. I started gagging when I opened up the sealed baggy. I was not prepared to deal with that today so I stuffed her back in the bag and put her upstairs. 😭

I think I'm going to have to completely wash her and the clothes. I've never done a serious doll wash before, does anyone have any tips?

I’ve wanted a Rudy ever since I saw them. Such a cute little deer. Rumor had it Soom is going to re-release them in november, I’m so excited! Only now I find myself doubting wether I really want Rudy...

I’ve had Minel for almost a year now and I hardly play with her. She’s very hard to sew for because of het tiny torso and humongous hips. She’s hard to pose because she is so top heavy. And then of course I got her in white, not quite realising how hard it would be to photograph. Rudy comes with the same body so will likely have the same problems. Apart from the color of course, I don’t know in what color they wil be released.

It’s like, do I want to get myself another doll that’s just going to sit there and collect dust?

And then of course Granado had to go and release Timtim who is about the same size and prize, double jointed en super super cute.

I HAVE A HUGE NEED. FOR NOVISTAR DOLLS. Like. I can perfectly make an old beaten one into Jello. And they are just so precious. I wish I could have them. I wanted them when I was younger and they came out, but I felt awkward cause no one in my family liked them. XD

They are so expensive on Amazon tho and it makes me cry

Does anyone have any experience with Hasbro Customer Service?

I finally got my hands on a Captain Marvel doll to go with my Marvel Rising dolls after three failed order pickups at three different Targets. The fourth Target that I was finally able to get her at was out of my way but I was excited, so I went ahead and got her. When I opened her up, I found she had a defective thigh joint. 😓

I don't know if I should just return her and wait for them to come out at my local Target or if I should reach out to Hasbro?

I'm sure I can mod it to work correctly, but the way the Marvel Dolls thigh mechanism is made makes them hard to fix, and since I have not had to do it before, I may break the leg in the process. 🙄

Also, and just my two cents, I HATE the fabrics they used for this doll, they feel like cheap store-bought Halloween costume fabric. I haven't ever really liked the fabric Hasbro has used on their other dolls, but it has never been this bad. The fabric is so bad, it makes it hard to take clothes on and off the doll. And while the body is articulated on the $25 doll, and the boots are nice, the terrible fabric quality really makes the doll not worth the money...

The $12 Wonder Woman Mattel Dolls were made better than this... And that is really saying something... 😤

Doll Help

Best thing to use to restyle a dolls hair? I washed the factory glue/gel out of a girls updo. What can I use to put it back in place that will last well over time and not make the hair sticky/tacky/dust magnet more than dolls usually are?

It’s all fun and games until you accidentally glue your fingers to a doll tiddy trying to clamp her body shut :/
