I feel like … I disagree with a lot of the popular criticisms of the series or at least the reasons for some of the criticisms. Like I do have a lot of criticism but “its grimdark and glamorizes suffering” just isnt what it is and a lot of the Discourse re vaw is just really in bad faith and hating on survivors. This is less about people who analyze the series and more about people who seem to not be familiar with it? Like the people who are familiar with it tend to know it better and knows its flaws better
obviously the real reason why rhaegar got his marriage annulled was so that lyanna and elia could get married during a secret ceremony in dorne
