My mom insisted on giving me a late Mother's Day gift of $100, which I adamantly didn't want, but she left in my purse at some point (I'm sure more out of pity than anything).

So, I found the SDCC Domez for $60 without the box. My collection will be complete for the most part, minus that box, but I appreciate it. The show is my therapy constantly right now. I'm constantly tired and overstimulated right now, and just want better.

I've collected all kinds of OTGW Domez but I think we need more other characters!! So I tried to imagine and draw it.

Happy Fourth Anniversary, Gravity Falls!

In honor of the fourth anniversary of “Take Back the Falls,” I thought I would post pictures of a Grunkle Stan Domez I repainted with Stan’s Goodbye sweater.

Above is my custom Grunkle, below is what the figure should look like for comparison. (Please excuse the crappy lights & the mess - I’ve got another painting project in the works & my basement has poor lighting).

At @guilty-pleasures-abound ‘s suggestion, I will paint the other Stan in his Stanchurian Candidate outfit. Eventually. Hopefully. Maybe. Just need to figure out if I want to file down his tie or just paint over it like I did with his doppelgänger.

Oh, and here’s my custom Ford Domez!

Left is customized, right is normal. He’s not exactly Portal Ford, because his collar is too high for me to add some scrap cloth as his scarf. He’s more of a Federal Agent Ford, from when he tricked Powers & Trigger into leaving Gravity Falls. It’s hard to tell in this lighting, but I used different shades of grey & black for his boots, trench coat, pants, and sweater.

I had debated just dunking him in gold paint to make a Golden Ford like when Bill held him prisoner twice, but I’ll save that for if/when I get another duplicate Ford.

I’ll post better pictures with better lighting once I’m done customizing all my duplicate GF Domez. Just wanted to get these guys out before it was too late.

Can’t believe I forgot to post a picture of these, but a few weeks ago I finally got my hands on some of the Gravity Falls Wave 2 Domez set! There’s a little scratched here and there but i got a great price for the lot, and they look so great together.

This set of Domez is significant since it’s still the only piece of official merchandise that features Ford. I do have the second Ford figure as well but he’s somewhere else. I thought it’d be weird to display 2 Fords with the rest of the family.
