“You’re staring.”

Bradley flinches so hard that his beer sloshes violently in its bottle and over the rim before he can stop it.

“What?” He asks, reaching down to wipe the back of his hand onto his jeans.

“You’re staring.” Phoenix says again. “It’s getting creepy.”

“I’m not staring.” Bradley says, but it sounds unconvincing even to his own ears.

“Right, so you’re totally not stripping Hangman down with your eyes right now?”

Bradley turns to glare at her, hoping that she’ll contribute the redness of his cheeks to the two beers in his system and not the fact that he was definitely eye fucking the man in question from across the room.

“I am not eye fucking him,” he says incredulous. “I’m just watching the game.”

“Uh huh.” Phoenix says, unconvinced. “Well we would all appreciate it if you’d do something about it, because it’s getting a little weird and borderline pervy on your part.”

“Fuck off.” Bradley says, but there’s no heat behind his words. His eyes are already trained along the line of Jake’s back as he takes aim to throw his next dart into the board.

In truth, Jake isn’t doing anything remotely sexual. He’s standing there playing darts with all his usual bravado and swagger, but he looks unfairly gorgeous in his khakis as he stands next to Javy. Bradley feels like he’s stepped directly onto a live wire; like every nerve in his body is balanced on a hair trigger and the slightest thing could set him off. He’d drop to his knees and worship Jake right now, given the chance.

i understand if you dont answer this for obvious reasons. but as a traumagenic system, why woukd someone do this ? genuinely asking bc it has never been a pleasant experience for me.

i just answered an ask where someone with DID talked about how they don't think they would've survived as long as they have without plurality!

i've met so many people on this blog in the short amount of time its existed that love their plurality, that love their headmates. i want to spread that joy to singlets, because being plural doesn't have to be a miserable life. it can be beautiful! it can be joyful!

another part of the reason this blog exists to introduce the idea of plurality to people who are already plural and are suffering because they don't know what it is. we were still plural before we had our syscovery, we just genuinely did not know what that was -- and it was painful. meeting other systems and learning about our own plurality has been a straight up magical experience, even now years later. and we realized we wanted to help others figure this out about themselves when we helped our sister figure out that they were plural!

so yes, people can find joy by discovering that they are not singlets. people can also find joy by becoming plural on purpose.

i've answered asks for people where being a singlet involves dysphoria. i've answered multiple asks that talk about headmate cuddle piles & slumber parties!

i want to acknowledge that you're a traumagen system and your plurality is the result of something that isn't beautiful, and i'm sorry that you don't consider having headmates a pleasant experience! for us, it isn't always pleasant either. i don't want to overstep any boundaries with this suggestion, but there's always a chance that with enough care, patience, and kindness, and love if it applies to you - that despite your origins, you can find not just functionality, but happiness in your plurality.

it's made our and so many other people's lives better, and that's why i suggest it :)

Soooooooo.... As you guys probably have heard in Alan's socials...

A date has been said "26th of April 2026" which I think is an important date for all the Villainous fandom. (fuck, it's after my birthday ;-;)

Because this can mean three (or more) significant things, thank you @kinzinthebinz for making a post of potential "new" things about Villainous. I will also list them myself but with my opinions below.

I. The Spin Off series: Ties of Thieves.

Well, this one will surprise me because judging by how long it takes to animate even a full episode of a series and remember when Alan said that it was in "Production" not in Post-production. So, I don't really think it's the spin off series or otherwise it can mean something.... They did the animation MESSSSYYYYYYY /ref.

But, I'll still be happy to see what this series has to offer if this is it.

II. Miss Heed book.

I couldn't care any less about her.....

Again, very unlikely since the Instagram post wasn't about her at all.

III. New episodes of Villainous.

FINALLY!!

To me, this is the most likely thing to happen.

IV. Or....

This could be two other things:

- The voice cover of The Completely Harmless Book of Black Hat Vol.2. (Very likely...)

- Another livestream. (Mhmmm... Likely but unlikely too)

V. My feelings about it.

Sooo... Since my opinion about Villainous has changed (I still like it but with mixed feelings, there are things I don't like in this show).

Well, let's just wait until the 26th April and we'll see.
