CHRISTMAS TO DO LIST! Christmas is fast approaching and everyone starts to panic. Rushing around for presents, stockpiling enough food for the 10,000. Over doing it on lights, decorations, wrapping paper etc. Taking pictures and showing on social media ‘look how much I got spent on me, look how much I spent on everyone else’. Many people get themselves into debt around this time trying to hard to keep up with the Jone’s. They forget what christmas is really about. It’s my favourite time of year and my family haven’t bought each other Christmas presents for the last few years. Geoff and I didn’t do presents last year. In fact I didn’t receive a single present last year. I didn’t care!! Not one single bit. Christmas to me is family time. It’s a time of year for love light and compassion. So this year focus on making memories, be present. Wrap up someone with love and care. Donate food to those who aren’t able to provide for their families this Christmas so they may have a special time. Donate time for the elderly who are alone and just need company and someone to talk to. They are special humans who deserve human interaction so that they can feel loved and worthy, they have given us so much it is time we have back. Be the light this Christmas, spread joy and happiness. Think of others. Not in a materialistic way, in a way that touches their heart and soul.
