In this house, we stan empathy and understanding toward all Hargreeves children because even if we don’t like their choices, we know that there are people who identify with each of them for different reasons. We recognize that it is okay and even healthy to criticize the bad choices a character makes, but draw the line at antagonizing fans of characters we dislike because this is a fandom with a large number of abuse survivors and we want to treat them well.

So, new Ryza. My thoughts.

Well. They're really, reallly pushing the fanservice. Straight up uploaded a picture of her getting dressed to the main Twitter.

This outfit, firs tof all... to me, it looks like Ryza is now the edgy sequel to an early 2000s platformer. It's grown on me since first seeing it, but I still have some issues, namely that the jacket looks reallly bad in-game. It juts out from her shoulders unlike an actual jacket would.

Now. What do I like? Klaudia looks really good. They nailed it with her design. If they did that well with Ryza, I'd be hyped. Also, Lent and Tao you see in the background have new outfits and they look really good too! Lent looks badass as hell with that crimson cape.

But all that said, this fanservice push is just... too much for me. I don't know if I'll be able to justify buying this. One thing that would make me buy it would be if Ryza and Klaudia were casual dating. Please oh lord. Just give us some casual lesbian representation in Japanese media. I swear all the Japanese do is queerbait. BNA made me pretty mad, so if Ryza and Klaudia are dating in this game. I will 100% buy it to support. Unless that's also played for fanservice.

Most likely they'll just be close and touchy and also completely platonic. But it'd be really cool if they're gfs.

I see posts every once in a while romanticizing physical labor, weather working on a fishing boat, being a logger, or doing any construction work, and 9 times out of 10 there’s someone in the notes complaining about it?

I just came across one saying “don’t romanticize work like this, it’s backbreaking, dangerous, and *wanting* to do it takes away from the struggles these workers go through”

I’m in a vocational technical school for carpentry, I’m OSHA certified, and have built multiple houses that people are currently living in, and that idea is so fucking gross?

My work is hard! I’m injured really often, I come feet away from dying every day, I get splinters and blisters and frozen hands, but I love what I do! I contribute to my community, I give people a warm and cozy home to spend their years, I make people happy and give them places to create memories, but also I like it for personal reasons too. I love being up high, working out my stress through pounding a hammer, I love not being in an office, and I cannot get a better feeling than when I finnally put in the last nail of a house and step back and see what I’ve accomplished.

If you tell someone that wanting to do my work minimizes the hardships I face on the job, I personally don’t like you. I love my work, and I want other people to love it too.

anyways just because someone prefers reading or writing or making headcannons for B!L and/or B!H doesn't make them a bad person. Shaming someone for liking either b!h or b!l is gross, obviously we don't know what louis and harry do inside the bedroom like thats totally true and they probably do like switch, and of course we can speculate from all the hints they've dropped, but again we truly don't know so most of us make headcanons and fics, its not bad to prefer b!h or b!l but being shitty towards people for preferring either one is gross and just let people enjoy themselves as long as they aren't hurting you or anyone.
