Thank you for the advice! I do find Snom and Frosmoth adorable. Frosmoth looks so soft! I think they would be the easiest, but unfortunately it's nowhere cold enough where I'm from, so they're not seen around here. Are there any Bug Types similar to them that may have a more relaxed demeanor or friendly?

Volcarona, Butterfree, Vivillion, Venomoth, Beautifly, Cutifly.

There's a lot of them that could help.

Volcarona might be the most similar, and they can handle warm and cool environments pretty well.

I personally find the Wimpod line very enjoyable first bug type encounters.

There's something about an armored creature that fears you just as much as you fear it that helps you realize how silly it is to be afraid of these loveable friends.
