man’s just workin’ all the time, innit?
HOBBIES INCLUDE: Pointless sleep deprivation, staring at uncompleted projects, and wondering where his drive and ambition went.
My brain is so low on dopamine.
It’s so crazy that I am actually conscious of it because I was chasing. Things (the usual). Typically this starts around the time my schedule fills up and I use up so much of my spoons on the average day. And then it kickstarts really frustrating long bouts of harmful coping mechanisms.
And I just realised—alright, no this is a response to the lows of today, which were especially hard to get over because I wasn’t taking care of my bodily needs as much + hormone things.
That’s okay baby, we can have a good day tomorrow.
And so now my “aims” for dopamine is shifted to tomorrow. YAY. Genuinely joy for coping better.
Wanna drink coffee cause coffee = caffeine = dopamine but I really shouldn’t cause I’m already really hyper and I won’t be able to sleep if I drink coffee now but gods do I want it
Hi I just got back from mountain biking and I loved it and I was so fast but my brain is still going at 200km/h idk what to do
Add this to the list of risky but really fun and effective ways of dopamine chasing:
