Can you tell me about Dora here she is one of my favorite characters
narratively speaking, dora is a parallel to danny in an episode tentatively called "sibling rivalry"! her overbearing brother aragon keeps getting on her nerves, so she (of her own volition!) runs away to the human world to have "true fun" (read: cause problems because she is a dragon). however danny catches up to her and she just goes "UGH my older brother is SUCH a PAIN"
and of course this episode, jazz knows dannys phantom, and shes been pushing him into having a "perfect childhood." he should be in at least one sport, one art based extra curricular, have tutoring sessions, get enough sleep, etc etc etc and it has been driving danny up a WALL. so instead of sending dora back dannys like "wait yeah older siblings SUCK ASS!!!!" and they cause problems TOGETHER
then aragon shows up and is like "woe is me my younger sister is lost (and also i want to kill danny phantom)" and jazz only hears the first part like "oh man that sucks my younger brother (who is danny phantom) is also """lost""" (read: out past curfew lately) we should look for them together" or w/e and the moral of hte story is JAZZ GIVE YOUR BROTHER SOME FUCKING SPACE
THAT ASIDE ! without that episode i still think dora is very neat theres honestly not a lot i would change about her??? i mean design wise i give her the funny hair so it look like horns and all, and i like Beauty Marked's "she controls the dragon" way more than Parental Bonding's "ooo if you angry then you dragon."
i think she and sam should be BEST FRIENDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dora can write a letter with sams cell phone number and mail it andthen sam will get a text with that via some funny ghost magic. dora playing a lute to a hard rock ballad. sam being like "bro check out this black leather jacket". dora is still very sweet and feminine in her rebelliousness but she should be the type of girl to SMASH a bottle and go "OH!!! :D that was fun!!!!" something something the archetype of an overly sheltered child getting to touch grass for the first time and being wild and "evil" about it. of course shes not perfect she can be pretty destructive without realizing it (shes a CHILD after all!!!! like 16 maybe but come on) and sam's influence doesnt make her. tone it DOWN.
she should leave the GZ and visit sam (and tucker!!!!!!!!) more often :}
people should think about what if dora and sam kissed i think. they should hold hands. or dora and ember.
more :clap: idiot :clap: women. i want dora to never learn what an ipad is. i want dora to stare at a traffic light in the middle of a four-way intersection in total awe that it changes color. i want her to be obsessed with paved concrete/asphalt roads. this is important. (note: do not confuse idiot with idiot. she does know to hide her ghost form and dragon form in the human realm. she just knows nothing else)
she is incredibly gullible/naive, not because of stupid, but because shes just Like That. think about like, starfire, thor, early wonder woman-- ppl from different ears/planets who have big eyes and are in awe of the mundanities and who will believe literally anything you tell them. this. this is my vision
