So I like Disney princesses, always have, and growing up Cinderella was my favorite (she still is, actually). I know a lot of People who say that she's the stereotypical disney princess, she was saved by a prince but that's only scratching the surface.

Cinderella had both her parents die, and survived abuse for years, all while still sticking to her principles, having courage and being kind, compassionate, and curious.

When I was six & seven my grandparents died, and then my cat died a few months later. As a small child this was really hard for me to deal with and I couldn't find someone to relate to. But Cinderella was my role model. She had her parents die, and while she was sad, it didn't define her. She still lived her life even though she was sad. Having that portrayed helped me so much, and I'm really grateful for it.
