Probably? It wouldn't rizz him but goodness he'd go all wonderous and whimsical watching any movie - Again, vigil's world is small enough as it is - his world atm is just the theatre. The rest of the world? Probably a square!!! He shrugs when you ask him what the rest of it is like because he wouldnt know!!!!
It made me think actually he'd LOVE movies and a lot of medias. MC has a dvd collection? greatest shit ever can you guys bingewatch. Going back to topic, you can genuinely show Vigil the avatar movies and lie to him that ikrans and the worldbuilding there is real in some part of the world and he'd believe it.
I actually feel so sad now over all of the things he probably doesnt know. Like,, he probably doesnt have a normal education and had to pick up on a lot of things by himself or by the bare minimum of what his friend the bard showed him. He probably knows what a bear is but if you asked him what an ostrich is he'd raise a brow.
But again, he'd eat the movies ALL up, oh the colors and characters and the story would genuinely enthrall him. It'd remind him of the earlier days when he just stayed up on the beams and watched the theatre shows from above. Those were long, long ago when he wasn't even Vigil yet.
Unrelated but It makes me also wanna ramble since I've always had ideas and thoughts of how excited he'd get by Eva showing him this if the opportunity ever comes, hell - not even just to the humans but other puppet friends. I know I describe Luci as curious but he wouldn't match Vigil's level of curiosity, because he is CURIOUSFUL!!!
Oh the MC could bring a picture book full of images of places they travelled to and he's eyeing it all up, pointing at photographs and it's blowing his mind. Like you went to where? Ka...wasan Falls?? GOSH now he wants to see a waterfall.
OKAY BACK TO TOPIC MY BADDD GIGGLES but he'd love the pandora universe, just know he would be incredibly dissapointed if he learned you did lie to him BOO but he'd love the forest na'vi a lot. I just think he'd be so fucking invested, he's one of those very,,, explosive and talkative reactors, he's leaning in his seat, gasping, suddenly saying NOOO when someone dies or gets hurt and gets extremely invested when theres a fight like YEAH KICK HSI ASS YEAH
I just KNOW he cheered in the first movie when Eywa heard Jake's call and all. Oh it's so cool. He'd ask a lot of questions too. Is that real? no? REALLY? it looks so real. How do you do that? CGI? what's that? Honestly showing him one movie will drag you to a rabbit hole of Vigil wanting to see more movies which makes me sad because it'd be a way that sort of shows him more of your world and all that he's missing.
Would it be surprising if I said he probably really liked cartoon and or animated movies? Like yeah obviously he'd be in love with action and drama movies, so on and so forth (I feel he'd really like godzilla) but this guy has the same wonder as a kid he'd LOVE Rise of the guardians oh Jack frost the man you are LHLHLH
