I use Ibis paint X on an iPhone 15 with my finger! Been using this method for around 6-7 years now and wouldn’t want it any other way :3!
for brushes, let’s just say. I use. A LOT, (like. I have over 200 custom brushes saved, some of which I also made myself!) I’ll give you a bunch of my favorite ones though and the ones I tend to use most often !
my primary lineart brush, super awesome, just a pain in the ass to color under- this is the brush you can primarily see me using for most of my artwork
My calligraphy brush, pretty basic tbh! I use it primarily for lineart as well (which you can see on some pieces in a specific style)
Pencil brush, I don’t use it too often but it’s a super nice brush none-the-less
This brush I made myself, you’ll see me using it if I’m recreating any sort of manga panel/anime screenshot/etc etc, absolutely amazing brush for lineart
Middle thin brush! This is the one I usually use in the very rare circumstance that I actually do rough art, it’s. Not the greatest for clean lineart so if you are gonna use it for anything other then rough art I highly suggest a more “doodley/rough” style for it
This is a brush given to me by a friend, super good for any sort of color splatter/blood/etc!
Also given by a friend, good for backgrounds
Good brush for coloring with a more “pixilated” style
Literally the best fucking thing EVER for overlayed texture on an art piece, this brush is meant to be used by coloring over your main art piece on an overlay/softligjt/hardlight/etc layer and then adjusting the opacity for a fun colorful affect which you can see here, the layer I used for this was a hard light layer
Awesome blending brush that’s very fun to use especially for stuff like fur/feathers/etc
If you’ve seen my recent Evangelion x phighting post, then you’ve seen brush in action! this is the brush I primarily used to color the manga cover redraw and is PERFECT for any sort of painting style
that’s about all of my brushes! If you want any more I’ll have to give them over in DM’s since there are. Hundreds LOL, these are my primary’s though so you should have fun with these for a bit :3 (also note, for my regular, simple coloring brush I just use ibis paints default soft/hard dip pen)
