Okay rb with one thing/concept/headcannon that the danny phandom has made up and was so well accepted that it's treated like canon/basic premise in almost every fic or without being explained, specifically aknowledged or announced

As someone who grew up with/adjacent to Danny Phantom, and you know, thought it was cool but didn't have my brain chemicially altered by this cartoon until adulthood, I really love keeping my eye on people who are just getting into the Phandom. Cute little "Oh, just started watching Danny Phantom", "Oh, here's fanart for this show I'm getting into!" posts pop up on your feed, and you're sitting there like "heh heh heh...just wait for it."

And, like clockwork (pun intended), you get to see the "Oh. Oh. I get it now" moment, and then we get to add one more member to the cult, erm, *cough* I mean club. I said club.

The Danny as Ghost King is such a funny concept to me.

Like this 14-16 year old teen who has barely to no idea of how politics work and may forget to make himself intangible to go through a wall on daily basis is suddenly put in charge of a whole dimension that he only understands 20% of it and he is expected to make tough choices of things that are probably 100 hundred years old and not screw it up.

I imagine Danny being in a middle of a serious political discussion between powerful ghosts, he says something and five minutes later everyone in the Ghost Zone is in a war.

Poor Danny has no idea what is going on half of the time.

i love fics/art where danny's ghost form is depicted as this awe-inspiring eldritch nightmare and i think we as a phandom need to use that for comedy more

like the contrast between the unfathomable, squamous form of Dread King Phantom of the Infinite Realms, Lord of All Dead, Bearer of the Crown of Fire and the Ring of Rage, Slayer of Tyrants, First of His Name...

and Danny Fenton, Just Some Guy, who hasn't slept in days and looks like a stiff breeze could knock him over

I don't get the little baby man thing, it looks like I was offline for the wrong day, but I suspect if I make something like a crochet plush of him i will probably blow at least a few people's mind just... because... that seems to be the trend in the phandom now
