everybody’s like “what happened to the military in the finale???” and nobody’s clocking the fact that Will, whose powers were firmly believed by Mike to be innate, just watched his sister die and all the people responsible for it were right there next to him and were then never seen alive again on the show…

and for the record, I support that boy’s rights and wrongs.

Oh Em Gee… I'm so silly I literally just noticed that they're taking Kali's blood.

Dr Kay is DEFINITELY wanting to capture El so they can use her blood and transfuse all the children with it so they can turn them all into little war machines. The children being used as bait for Vecna was a lie… Dr Kay probably thinks Vecna is dead LOL.

They'd probably make all the children wear collars or something that emit the "kyrptonite" to keep them in line, too. That is so depressing, but not unexpected.

El's arc is defintely going to be about saving or rehabilitating children, thus healing her inner wounded child, and reuniting with her childhood companion Kali.

the real monster did not get punished in Stranger Things’ finale

I was ranting today in my Instagram stories about all the disappointments around ST and realised another one: we do not see any punishment for “the evil stepmother” (= Dr Kay)

I mean talk about having some consequences, and the only reason they didn’t was so he could fill dr Kay in with what happened at the Mac z when it was a military base there is no way there weren’t any cameras.

I have started watching Black Mirror because of bandersnatchgate and yesterday I watched San Junipero, which primarily takes place in 1987

A lot of the plot happens in a club and one of the songs that played was called "Fake" by Alexander O'Neal

It's not a song I've heard before, and the lyrics immediately caught my attention (I only included the two verses and the chorus)

First verse: Your name was Patty, but now it's Kay Girl, you seem to change it every day Your hair was long, but now it's short You say "I got it cut!" but I don't see no hair upon the floor

Now, both Patty Newby and Dr. Kay have been speculated to not actually exist, be foils for other characters, Mindy in disguise or the mind flayer's champions etc.

The odds of this song lining up with these characters unintentionally are so fucking slim. No way you create two characters with those exact names and descriptions accidentally. It's just too specific...
