30 year old man call me tonight 30 year old man please
I just finished this fantastic stream series, and I can't wait to start watching his playthrough of Forbidden West!
Not only is it fun to watch someone point out psychological and sociological concepts at play in a story and characters I already care about, I'm also finding it really valuable as a writer.
Dr. Mick isn't focused on the craft of storytelling; but in analyzing the world and characters' responses to it and to each other, he highlights the skillful work the writing team at Guerrilla Games incorporated through a thoughtful, nuanced, and often empathetic understanding of individuals and societies. We're talking about the building blocks of the THEMES and CHARACTER ARCS and EMOTIONALLY IMPACTFUL REVEALS that make us love these stories!
You don't have to agree with every individual interpretation of his to get something out of it. Even when I don't agree with his take, it gives me something to bounce off of to better hone my own understanding by contrast. He gives my Writer Brain a lot to work with!
My entire playthough of Horizon Zero Dawn!
It’s important that we deal with our OWN anxiety when someone we know isn’t doing well. Don’t put that on them.
“You wanna screw a kid up? Tell them that the awful things that they’re experiencing are in their best interests.”
I didn’t expect to hear something so validating from Dr Mick’s Broken Age playthrough.
Imagine: You find out from your husband Dr. Mick Davies, that you pregnant after two weeks feeling sick.
#11 aesthetic
#1 - working with Mick, #2 - working with Ketch, #3 - Go shopping to the Diagon Alley with Gabriel, #4 - Apple Pie life with human!Cas, #5 - Rainy day with Chuck, #6 - Get married to Mick Davies, #7 - Get married to Arthur Ketch, #8 - Dr. Henry Winchester (AU), #9 - Crowley, the King of Hell, #10 - Lucifer (SPN), #12 - The Ketch family go home with their newborn
*If you find any inspiration in this and you’re gonna write it, let me know, and tag me. I wanna read that story. :)

Reading anxiety by observing a pattern change with Sten.
It's Mental Health Awareness month and for us here at Double Fine, this is an essential time to live up the messages in our games and Psycho
Turns out Double Fine made a blog post about Dr Mick’s Psychonauts 2 playthrough!
(I’d definitely recommend watching his playthrough if you’re interested in mental health discussions!)
When I think my day can’t get better, a new video from Dr Mick is released.
