Hey! I hope you’re having a good 2026 so far! Would you consider writing a sequel to Dr. Orion and Captain Freeze? Maybe after they get to Orion’s house and he does first aid possibly?

I'm so glad you loved that story! I just reread it and I now see the hype, I, too, crave more of it. I appreciate the suggestion because the biggest sticking point for why they haven't gotten a sequel is because I'm not exactly sure what to write more for them since it ends on a note where it seems like Dr. Orion has all the power and there's no clear indication for if/when that would change, so I was kind of at a stopping point. But I'm starting to get a trickle of inspiration for these two again 👀 It would be really helpful if you'd be willing to share what entices you most about this story! I've seen a lot of people ask for more of this universe and I'm not exactly sure what they're expecting behind the curtain, and this fic could go a lot of ways that I'd enjoy writing so it would be helpful to know A) what you enjoy about the original fic and B) what sort of things you're looking forwards to seeing. For example the following would be helpful to know:

Do you care about the worldbuilding? Are you drawn to lore about the Leagues (villains or heroes)?

Are you specifically interested in Orion and Freeze as characters, and only want more content involving these two / centralized around these two (as in not a story about a whole new set of characters in the same world)?

Similar question, if interested in Orion and Freeze as characters/individuals, would you want to read content where they are the same size? (Such as prequel story where the shrinking has not occurred yet / would not occur during the prequel)?

Are you only interested in more content of this if it is Giant/tiny?

Are you expecting a romance between Orion and Freeze? (or vice versa)

Are you most eager to see how Freeze escapes his predicament, or are you oppositely eager to see Freeze trapped forever?

Is the use of superpowers the main draw to the narrative? Do you yearn for more use of these superpowers in action?

I wanna talk about the unnamed AU-

So basically non of AA happens. Aquillius is stopped by Jinx, the talassiopa and their daughter.

Jinx gets called to the heart of the ocean after Aquillius shows him the virus he has been working on and tells him what his plan is.

Jinx does not like said plan.

The talassiopia calls jinx and showy him the future, jinx has to convince Aquillius somehow to stop.

The merpeople learn about the planned virus. They start to hate Aquillius and jinx and their daughter.

In the end Aquillius doesn't go though with it but he still has to deal with merpeople not liking him anymore and him being the bad guy.
