Chapter 10: I Think, Therefore I Am

Chapter Summary: Judith takes a large risk and attempts to confess to Gordon. Overwhelmed by the situation, her explanation comes out much more confusing than intended. Instead of accomplishing anything, all she does is incriminate herself more, leaving Gordon confused and conflicted.

🐻 Your go-to things to draw when you need comfort?

I usually draw either my comfort characters like Chettmen, Malware, or Skrillix. Most of y’all probably don’t know who Malware or Skrillix are. But as a distraction either from stress or out of boredom, I default to practicing hands and faces.

Gordon wakes up after his surgery just to turn around and be thrown into a situation he wasn’t expecting at all. The Resistance finally learns what happened to their leader and close friend. Gordon is introduced to the Citadel and gets acquainted with his new way of living, among other things...

Random Gordon Headcannon: Gordon likes bugs! They interest him.

Resistance Crew headcannons:

Dr. Kleiner is very close with Gordon and sees him as his son almost.

Barney keeps a picture of him and Gordon in his CP vest and will hold the vest where the picture is to help ground himself in stressful situations.

When Barney drinks he always grabs two but only drinks one. The other is meant for Gordon. He won’t let anyone else touch it.

Alyx doesn’t remember much of Gordon since she was only 3 when the Res Cas happened. She still likes to listen to stories about him from Barney as a comfort for both her and Barney.

Dr. Kleiner knew Dr. Chettmen and was very close to him when they were both younger. They were considered close friends until Chettmen started to work for Black Mesa. Thats when Chettmen’s morals seemed to fly out the window.

Yall just remember you can also ask the characters direct questions. Not just me.

I am finally trying to sit my ass down and draw Dr. Chettmen’s design but my perfectionist self is making it very difficult.

Either way have a small part of a WIP I may or may not throw away and restart for the 5th time.

Also I have found it very easy to draw blobs for the body shape and then outline it later-

makes anatomy so damn easy.
