This is gonna be real mixed but Makoto, Leon, Yasuhiro, Akane, Gonta, and Ibuki with an s/o waking up in a panic from a really bad nightmare? Thanks so much if you write this <3
Here you go anony! I hope you like it : )
The moment S/o’s scream echoed through the room, he was up.
Their back turned to him, they were shaking, struggling to breath, hyperventilating.
Makoto placed a gentle hand on their shoulder.
“Hey… S/o… It’s going to be alright…”
Gently turning them around, he wrapped his arms around them, holding them against him.
“It’s okay… Take a deep breath… it’s alright, it’s over now… I’m here.”
For the rest of the night, he stroke their hair, whispering reassuring words into their ear as they clung to him as if their lives depended upon it, until they finally calmed down and slowly fell back to sleep.
And as they were once again sleeping peacefully in his arms, Makoto couldn’t help but to feel his heart break at the idea of it happening again, because nothing is more painful than seeing your loved one suffer like this.
He woke up in surprise when he heard the scream.
Still half-asleep, he’s confused about what exactly is going on.
But the moment he hears their panicked sobs and unsteady breathing, he knows something is wrong.
Wrapping his arms around them, he pulls them close to him, playing softly with their hair as he does his best to calm them down.
Leon is sort of curious about what nightmare could have caused them to panic like this but he knows very well how bad of an idea it can be to ask them about it right now, so he settles for simply talking of whatever comes to his mind first.
Their head resting on his chest, his lover listens to his heartbeat and, slowly, his meaningless talks eases them to sleep.
And even as they sleep in his arms, he keeps petting their hair, staring at the ceiling and wishing he could prevent this from happening ever again.
The scream might have made him scream too.
It kind of scared the shit out of him.
But once he saw the state in which is S/o was, he was surprisingly serious.
Apparently the Ultimate Clairvoyant is capable of that.
He’s not exactly the best a comforts, but Hiro is going to try everything he can to get his lover to feel better.
He will most likely blame some sort of bad spirit and try to banish it in some way.
He might also offer them a free reading to see if what they saw in their nightmare is going to happen.
The answer is clearly going to be no anyway because he loves them too much to say otherwise and worry them.
He has a few tricks to calm down from panic attacks, especially considering how anything too supernatural for his taste gets him to freak the fuck out.
He’s going to do his best to change their mind too, talking about random things completely unrelated.
And he’s going to cuddle them until they feel better of course, anything for his S/o to be better.
She’s completely at lost.
Usually if something bothers her lover, she can (try to) fight it and make it go away, but when it’s a nightmare, there’s nothing she can really do to help and it pains her.
Wrapping an arm around S/o, she does her best to reassure them and help them calm down.
Once they’re calmer, she lays on her back, cuddling with them and talking softly.
She tells them how having nightmare is totally a normal thing and how it’s not weak to be afraid of something.
She tells them she too, has nightmares sometimes and that they shouldn’t be worried about the one they just had, because whatever scared them can’t hurt them here.
She tells them that she knows they can overcome this, that she knows they have the strength and the will needed to succeed.
Even if she might not have been exactly sure of what she was saying, Akane managed to find the right words to make her S/o feel better by the time they fell back asleep in her arms.
And as their now peaceful breathing echoed shyly through their darkened room, she would curse her powerlessness in situations like this.
When she’s woken up by S/o’s scream she most likely screamed too.
She also does her best to help them calm down but her techniques are... not exactly the most effective ones on the market…
At least she’s trying :’ )
Of course, she also goes for the sort of usual more affectionate things: hugging them as she stroke their hair gently, suggesting them different ways to calm down in case this isn’t enough.
A bit like Akane, Ibuki has a few surprisingly good advices for nightmares and bad dreams of all sorts.
Even though they mostly are buried in a flow of random thoughts and weird tricks for panic attacks she’s giving them at the moment.
She most likely ended-up singing them a lullaby, in hopes on lulling them back into a peaceful sleep.
Except with her own twists.
Like nearly screaming it at the top of her lungs in a death metal kind of way.
While shaking her head like a madwoman.
Truly, a majestic event to witness.
Maybe it didn’t have the wanted result but it managed to make S/o laugh until they entirely forgot about what had terrified them to the point they had a panic attack.
He probably started to lowkey panic too.
The sound of their sobs echoing through the rooms were heart wrenching for him.
Poor boy wanted to help S/o but had no idea how to.
Wrapping gently his arms around their sobbing form, he held them in his arms, trying to reassure them.
He swore to them that no matter what had scared them, Gonta would protect them from it because Gonta was gentleman.
It may have gotten a small smile to reach S/o’s lips at the innocence of the giant.
The two of them held each other until S/o fell asleep again, at which point, the gentlemanly giant watched over their sleep with tenderness and worry, dead set on protecting them from everything he could.
