OC Introduction: Game Master

Race: Draconi

An individual that dabbles in the arts of creation. Stories, drawings, even music, they manifest the thoughts that linger in their mind into reality whatever way they can. They are extremely eager for others to join them in their imaginary escapades.

Though they tend not to be imaginary for long. Some may find themselves thrust into an illusion projected by the Game Master. Those with ill intent use this ability to guide victims through a trail of torment for their own entertainment. Others use it as a means to help themselves and others escape the stress of their daily lives.

This strange ability can be easily turned against a Game Master. Tales of would-be prisoners overcoming the trials set before them and shattering the illusion, and the GM's psyche, are quite common. Some Game Masters find themselves so entranced in the worlds that they have created that they neglect their true body's natural needs, unknowingly welcoming death with a smile on their face.

Know what I hate?

Dragons on the cover of a fantasy book or game and it features one (1) dragon in it. Dragons that are dragons! But nah, they have a human form they’ll be in 95% of the time. Dragons that are said to exist in the world! You see one or two total before the series ends.

Hate it hate it hate it hate it.

So you know what? I made a Dragon a Generic character. They’ll be everywhere playing any role necessary. No shapeshifting, no minute appearances. Do they fit an RPG class archetype? Probably not. Screw that though. HERE BE DRAGONS.

I wanted to make the Dragon from Disgaea as a playable character in Rivals of Aether (long story) but I didn’t have the art skills necessary to pull it off.

So I made it very off-model and chibi.

I thought the design was cute.

It changed so much you couldn’t really call it the same character anymore, so I thought why not push the design further away?

Weird how the design evolved like that.

But yeah, dragons. Element-breathing wing-flapping scaly boys, now populating a Samsara near you.
