actually you know what, i've thought about dracula teeth (song) for years and years but i've always perceived it as more atmospheric than anything else, but now with my interpretation boots on i'm certain that the entire premise of the song comes from the fact that he was watching a horror movie on tv and got turned on (Incredibly sexy concept to think that it might've been the horror movie which turned him on btw) so he jerked off thinking about the other person ("i wrote your name in white emulsion") and then fell asleep while the movie was still on ("i drift away with silver faces on display")

in his dreams he gets a weird feeling so when he wakes up the person he thought about is Literally hovering above him (either really there or in his imagination, i don't think it really matters) and, having just watched a horror movie, that's what's on his mind when he sees them above him which conjures up the idea that they're a vampire. plus the movie might still be on, providing the haunted house sound effects and ambiance to mess with his perception of the situation. plus it might just be one of those nights where everything contributes to the atmosphere, and the full moon really is glowing yellow and his partner's steps really do make the floorboards creek

PLUS oh my god stop. what if they kissed him on the cheek while he was asleep and he finds out by the seeing the stain on the pillow when he wakes up? and like sure, as the song goes on he starts to blend reality with imagination with the concept that it really is a vampire hovering above him BUT. the important part??? IT TURNS HIM ON BABYYYYY. the outro!!!! the threatening behavior of the person intrigues him!! "pinball machines on mute" plagued me for ages, but now i do truly believe he means the horny thoughts are bouncing around his mind so wildly that it makes everything else blank, he can only think about how hot the entire situation is

ive realised i haven’t updated my tumblr in months (i forget) anyways here’s a tlsp work i did a month ago for halloween! deffo one of my favs.

use this however you like, freeze dry in, splatter glue all over it and shove it in a microwave, put foundation on it and send it to a glam show…yeah all that. (credit appreciated x)
