War of Light by Jim H. Via Flickr: As I had gotten to the DC Universe photo-shoot a bit early on Saturday afternoon, I ran into some Lantern Corps cosplayers. The only color/emotion they were missing was red/rage so I offered to let them borrow Dex-Starr for a few photos in the lobby and outside at the break-out session. He was a big hit! :-)

FINALLY, I have (hopefully...maybe...probably not) answered everyone’s burning questions about my crochet Sailor Saturn cosplay all in one place! Sort of.

Also: does anyone know who that Josephine cosplayer was? I took basically no pictures at DC this year, but I was hella excited to find her. I’d like to give her appropriate tumblr love and cred for awesomeness if she wants. <3 <3 Josie 4eva! The only fictional woman I heart more is Isabela and I didn’t encounter anyone dressed as her at all.

Pulled the dress in, put a new zipper in, and then walked around my apartment in the dress. Still a little big so I need to take the zipper out, mold the top seam a bit, take in about a half an inch on either side, then put the zipper back in. But I learned two things from this latest dress problem:

1) I need to put boning or something in the bottom layer of the dress at the bottom to make the flames stay put.

2) My boobs will look amazing when I am done with the dress.
