Dragel universe / SVSSS crossover idea
Shen yuan is the (grand?) child of Harry, Brishen, or perhaps Alec, and one of the earth elements in the circle, based on the fact that his Qi supposedly feels like an ice-cold mountain stream/river (according to a fic I read)
(I’m not sure if it should be Raspen or Ethan Hartwood. I feel like both of them would work really well. I’m basing this off of their similarities to yuan, if not in personality, than in what they enjoy doing. I’m gonna say Yuan’s canon siblings are also there, and share at least 2 of the same parents between them.)
His body was naturally sickly and frail, to the point that his heritage actually never awakened, as while the strength of being a dragel would help, the awakening itself likely would have killed him. Maybe it even got sealed so it wouldn’t potentially awaken. He had gone to and been visited by many different doctors and healers, but no one could make his body healthy. Considering his parentage, it’s strange that he’s so sickly. Perhaps there was an incident when Harry was pregnant with him that caused it?
I’m not sure if he actually lived in china, or if he simply had access to the internet from earth, for some reason. Perhaps part of his illness involved being unable to handle large amounts of ambient magic in the environment, and the only realm that he could live longterm on was earth?
Anyways, he dies in his early 20s, and gets transmigrated and reincarnated as Shen Jiu. Like with Shang Qinghua, he remembers his past life throughout his entire life and the system has been there the entire time. Part of his coldness and cruelty is from the trauma of Shen Jiu’s life, but a lot of it, especially the cruelty, is because the system forced him to be, it being much more strict and harsh. Then he has a devistating Qi deviation when Binghe is 14, that for some reason causes him to completely forget his life as Shen Jiu, and also causes the system to be much less harsh and strict.
His Dragel rank is gheyic submissive, though I’m not sure if the gheyic part of that was natural or a crack formed from trauma from his early life as shen jiu. The system sealed his Dragel inheritance, making it so that even though his body could handle it in this life, it wouldn’t awaken no matter what. Probably soon after the end of the plot, the system either dies or unseals his inheritance, and as soon as it’s unsealed it awakens.
Also, by then he’s in a poly relationship with Luo Binghe, Shang Qinghua, Mobei-jun, Liu Qingge, and maybe Mu Qingfang, Wei Qingwei, and Yue Qingyuan (I’m 50-50 on whether their relationship should be platonic or romantic, or maybe queerplatonic?). Also, when demons fall in love with someone they become very possessive/jealous, their instincts don’t like their (potential) mates courting someone who isn’t either them or someone who their instincts have also claimed. Or something like that. Like possessive cats. This person is Mine, why do they smell like some other cat/person that isn’t one of Mine?! Adding another person into a romantic relationship with at least one demon in it requires some delicacy, trying to get the demon’s instincts to claim the new person as their’s.
Actually, perhaps Shang Qinghua should also be a Dragel? Just, one who never knew he was a Dragel. Mostly because dragels are even more of a social species than humans and actively Need other dragels, especially when they’re inherited and their instincts are fully awakened. I have no clue what his element would be, though.
