I just got back from a mini doll hunt this morning from a store called Tuesday Morning.

THIS. This beautiful sonnuvabitch was the only purchase I made and as both a doll collector and a giant dorky Jurassic Park/Jurassic World fan, I. AM. BEYOND. SATISFIED!!!

I scared some poor lady in the store parking lot as I sat in my car happily screaming for like five minutes as I just stared at him. Eh, she’ll get over it~

Fun fact: the brother of actor Chris Pratt lives and works as a police chief in the city one over from mine, so Pratt pays a visit there often!! I SO want to get a second Owen doll to keep in the box forever, and if I ever get the chance, I want him to autograph it. JURASSIC GOALS.

Tiny Delf Dorothy!!

I’m currently in the market for a Tiny Delf Dorothy from LUTS. I saw her online a few years back and just fell in love!! She’s so perfect and cute and travel sized!!

The asking price for her (without a face up) is actually super decent, but since I’m disabled and unemployed, it’s still a bit on the pricy side for me.

I’ve been looking around online to see if I can buy her secondhand from someone, and so far I’ve got zip. One person on eBay wanted to charge her the exact same price as the LUTS official site. And I found a couple other people on eBay who wanted to sell her for $200+!

Yeah, tempting, but I’m looking LOWER than official site asking prince. During my search, I came across a link on Aliexpress where they were selling her for about $74. I was nearly all over that offer, except...

This is clearly not the same sculpt as the one on the official LUTS site, nor the ones being sold on eBay for over official price.

I don’t mind paying official price if I have to, and recast is NOT an option, so please do not come near me with that can of worms. But I prefer secondhand, because asking price is cheaper and I oddly feel like a good person for rehoming a doll in need of one.

So if you or someone you know has a Tiny Delf Dorothy that is in need of a new owner, please private message me or send the owner my way and let’s talk!! I’d greatly appreciate it.

Haven’t updated Prysma in awhile! I still haven’t made further progress on his pastel rainbow wig - cosplay and other stuff kinda took first priority.

But today while out and about in the rain, I ran into Michael’s and got him the one thing he doesn’t have yet - a warm hoodie!!

I forget the brand name Michael’s sells, but they’re originally made for 18in American Girl shaped dolls (or similar shaped brand dolls), so the hoodie is a little big on him. But that’s okay! Prysma likes his hoodies oversized, baggy and comfortable - like me!

I’m probably grasping at straws, but...

I’m looking for a 1/6 mature feminine looking male doll that can be fashioned with heeled feet. And has pointed ears.

Does he exist? Even to an extent? Please come to me with suggestions!!

An incredibly super rough sketch of a BJD I want to sculpt myself sometime in the near future (aka one of like six summer projects I have planned - yay, multitasking). But this isn’t anything set in stone. This was really more to figure out the height that I want - big but still small enough to cart around easily. I still have more sketches to do, and then there’s going to be a lovely cornucopia of clay prototypes until I’m satisfied. But it’s something I’ve had on my list of things I wanted to do for a long time and I’m finally getting my rear in gear to do it no matter how long it takes!! Wish me luck~

So I went to the thrift store a couple weeks ago and got my hands on these two dolls.

I plan on customizing them into something more original, but out of pure curiosity, can anyone help me identify them?

I think the Monster High doll is Moanica D’Kay, but I’m not 100% sure because every single Moanica D’Kay doll I’ve looked up online only looks similar to this one. I haven’t been able to find one that looks exactly like this one.

And I have absolutely no clue who the doll on the left is. My best guess is something Disney or Ever After High? I really don’t know. I’m hoping someone has a better idea than me XD

Anyway, if anyone can help me identify what character the Monster High doll is and who the doll on the left is period, I would super appreciate it!!

Taking a break from working on Lala, by bjd. Instead, I’m repainting a Monster High doll. This is my first time ever doing a face up (so better to practice on a cheaper doll, yes~?) and I’m honestly surprised at myself for how nice it’s turning out so far!! Here’s hoping I didn’t just jinx myself for having just said that XD Wish me luck!!
