Wanted to add more shading but I ran out of time. Also I got sick. Yay. Hope y'all like it anyway.

Last week, I got sick. Instead of getting some rest, I decided to push it and tried to get things done.

Of course, any attempt at portrait sketching failed miserably. That’s when I thought about drawing rabbits. I have no idea why I picked rabbits (Frustration? Maybe, fever? Or a lack of oxygen getting to my brain because of a stuffy nose?). In the end, these little sketches satisfied me enough that I could call it a day.

I used a grease marker to draw the rabbits. It was the first time I used this kind of pencil and I liked the feel of it and the end result. The only thing that got to me is the “peeling” of the pencil. It is either the most rewarding thing in the world or the most frustrating one. When it flows, it flows. When it breaks, I just grab my utility knife and try not to get too angry.

I was sick with covid last week and what got me through it was lots and lots of medicine but ALSO my friend started reading One Piece. She’s in Alabasta now and I had to redraw one of Luffy’s best jokes.
