I like to think that after the Closure Ending Rebecca has a unique ability against the demons

Rebecca has faced her worst personal demons and gotten her proper closure with them, so the demons have no power over her anymore

Sure they can still possess her and attack her and whatnot, but they can't get inside her head anymore, they can't bother her the way they used to

So Raymond is particularly protected against physical demon attacks with all his sigil tattoos, and Rebecca is particularly protected against emotional demon attacks with the conviction of her father's undying love and forgiveness

I think it makes for a nice balance and would make things interesting for further adventures our two demon hunters might have

Publisher DreadXP and developer Talesworth Game Studio have announced hand-drawn black-and-white dungeon RPG The Secret of Weepstone for PC (Steam). It will launch in 2026. A demo will be playable at PAX West 2025, which will run from August 29 to September 1 in Seattle, Washington.
