YEAR 1, MOON 1, PT 1: Settling in

Phloxsnout listens to Icykit's big plans for the day.

Phloxsnout places a bundle of catmint onto a crystal protruding from the cave wall, as Icykit excitedly tells him about frosts plans for the day, which consists of pranking the others.

“-Nd then, I’m gonna find some thorns and put them in Cypresses nest!” Icykit rubbed his paws together, mischievously.

“Heh, I don’t think that’s a good idea, Icy. You know how Cypress can be.” Phloxsnout chuckled light heartedly. It turned around to face the young kit.

“I know! Hehe! The perfect cat to prank! Oh! I can get Dandy to help!” Icykit exclaimed, his tail wagging excitedly. “Do you have any thorns?” Icykit looks up at Phloxsnout, eyes sparkling.

The healer was quiet for a moment before using petals bushy tail to push a few thorns over to the young kit. “Don’t tell Cypress I was involved.” He winks, before busying himself with work.

Icykit thinks Dandelionkit is very helpful!

“Cycys gonna be sooooo shocked!! Hehe!” Dandelionkit squealed, paws tapping against the ground rapidly.

“Shush! Hehe, we’ll be in trouble if someone finds out we’re in the apprentices den!” Icykit giggled, putting thorns in Cypresspaws nest, and hiding it under the moss. “We have to be quick! Before Cycy gets back!” He hurriedly finished putting the thorns in the nest. “Come on!” He led the younger kit out the den, where the two hid behind a crystal, waiting and watching for the apprentice they just set up a prank for.

After a while, the target trudged up to her den, obviously tired from a hunting patrol. Tree entered the den, and it’s quite for a beat when-

“FUCK-“ Cypresspaw exclaims loudly, “WHO PUTTING FUCKING THORNS IN MY NEST?” He stomped out the den, tail lashing. She stops when she hears giggling. From the two troublemakers. “Icy… Dandelion..” Tree growled.

“Uh oh… Dandy! Scatter!” Icykit yelled bolting from the hiding spot.

“Cc! Cc wait for me!” Dandelion bolts after the older kit, flors paws carrying flor.

“Little scamps..” Cypress growls, turning around to go back in the den and remove the turns from his nest.
