But! I saw Katsuki, and Izuku, and there were moments were I was a third person, and moments I was one of them.
THE THING IS. I dreamed them IN the Sonic universe.
There was this crazy apocalypse or smth like that, and suddenly I was Izuku watching everything fall down and staring at Katsuki like: "what are we gonna do now?"
And then my mom woke me up. Because I still live with her.
Anyways, while trying to remember my dream, because my mom talked to me as I woke up and couldn't HOLD ONTO IT ;;;;;;; I was like: Okay, but then HOW would that make sense??? How a third person (in-dream me) would be there, making heart-eyes with Katsuki if I saw Izuku there????
Didn't manage to find out, tbh...
But that sparked another thought: In-Universe versions of BkDk should be normal mobians for me not to get gray hairs trying to fit them in my fucked up timeline. OR, somehow super-powered humans that SOMEHOW are able to work with chaos energy (so Katsuki wouldn't be without his explosions and Izuku would have something to defend himself, or not, bc he's quirkless)
OR- secret third option: They are Eggman's creation.
Blablabla, they were orphans/dying kids in the middle of his attacks that the heroes couldn't rescue/weren't aware of, and Ivo Robotnik was like: Why. Not?
So he experimented on them. There wasn't much the kids would lose, after all, right? They were dying. They weren't even conscious when the mending and improving started. Collecting Chaos Emeralds to modify their genetic make-up with Gerald's notes, getting samples of Shadow's Black Arms DNA, and Wisps.
Because. Why. not?
I'm picturing Katsuki as a wolf, and Izuku as a rabbit, basic? hell yeah, I wasn't trying to find much to work with. Also, the animals just feel right

Katsuki would get the Black Arms DNA (It would make him really badass, but not as Powerful as Shadow, yk? I just wanted Ivo to be really careless about the implications of the whole Black Arms thing, and Shadow to get reeeeeaaaaaly weirded out because of it -> Plus, he'll want to kick Robotnik's ass even more!) His explosions come from the gear he wears, but he can explode any part of his body and then mend it back together with the alien biology!
Izuku would get the Wisps' DNA, making him a power source for the weapons he uses and charges himself :D. He doesn't need to be the fastest, or crazy powerful when he has an Arsenall on himself ;) Yes. I wrote "arsenall" with double "ll" on purpose.

Idk where they would be created, tbh... maybe Eggman creates them while Infinite happens, he has them tucked away in a secret lab, away from where the war is happening.
Maybe it happens after the Metal Virus (because I'd rather not traumatize my babies with THAT, they wouldn't be able to cope with that after being "created" together, yk, trauma bonding)
Frontiers happens before or after the Metal Virus tho? as: time of launching/publishing or just because it makes sense? I'm only a month or two in the Sonic fandom...
The thing is: They're manipulated into thinking Ivo is the good one, that, as their creator, people (read: sonic & his friends) always manage to destroy everything he builds to improve people's lives. Ivo needs them to prepare for when they'll finally get out of the lab to retrieve seven Emeralds.
He makes them train.
Katsuki .-
Katsuki now has a high pain tolerance (or whatever you normally say that, I'm not from an English-speaking country), so he gets a couple of rounds of training until Eggman finally makes him his gloves/shoes gear. He manages high levels of adrenaline and gets really cocky and obnoxious. He's a weapon, and he's okay with that because it's fun for him to show off just how powerful and proud he is of his power. (He also doesn't like the inhibitors he has to use inside the lab, even when Eggman has assured him he can go nuts outside when the doctor deems him ready.
He is battle-smart and quick to countermeasure his opponent. Fighting against Izuku proved to be very rewarding for both, even if they had to do it with the inhibitors inside Eggman's property.
Izuku .-
Izuku, on the other hand, was given wisp DNA (i just researched, wisps supposedly make bonds with people they deem trustworthy, so, for extra flavor, the wisp used was Izuku's, who followed the robots stealing Izuku's dying body and found itself trapped too :D /cries), which means, he was given a lot of weapons so practice his aim. He was also given inhibitors to use inside the lab. He can go hyper-go-on in bursts bc it uses at least half his energy, which won't replenish until one to five hours, depending on the situation.
He's constantly analyzing and storing data inside that brain of his very well, even if his squibbles don't do justice to his understanding of the world. His eyes are very good at catching strengths and weaknesses, and pinpointing the best place to shoot at his opponents.

They'll realize, almost at the same time, that they're being used; one look is all they need to understand the other was on the same page.
Their names won't actually be Katsuki and Izuku in the Au, but Idk what they'll be, so... yeah. Something cool, and probably somewhat cringey, because Eggman literally rewrote their identities... and.. because Eggman is cringe, idk.
Katsuki is more upfront with his distaste of someone/something, unlike Izuku, who'll plot your downfall behind anxious smiles because he's more shy and awkward when he's not Locked In (tm) fighting.
Both are anxious all the time. Katsuki itches to relieve that stress in battle, while Izuku vibrates in anxiety and twists his hands/ears to soothe himself. When Katsuki notices, he grabs his hand, and it calms both of them.
Eggman sends them treasure hunting after two months of them being awake and training for seven weeks. They don't encounter anyone until they find their fourth Chaos Emerald. Like- at least four to half a year later.
So, yeah, they're antagonists until the heroes can get through them (They're hella stubborn, so that'll take a while...)

I had a TAWOG dream last night or two days ago or something and like basically Juke was the main character of the episode but he was a detective or something and Bobert was evil and Gumball kept getting in his way or something idk and now i wanna write a fanfic with this plot but i think im losing it. Should i?
Hops and Fuzz were kidnapped and experimented on when they were biologically 4, after the war with Infinite destroyed the streets where they played. (rn I'm being reminded of Sonic's kidnapping and the torture he suffered afterwards, so maybe this happened at the same time. Because Tails was unconscious and no one else was there... i don't know enough, I just know it happened)
Eggman's robots (or Infinite himself, idk) found two kids, still alive.
mAYBE. What caught his attention (following the Infinite route) was the merch they had, either Sonic's (yk, from the people who make it themselves to sell, idk what was called) or Shadow's that they themselves made for the little hornet.
Or Eggman was already planning to do a "Project Shadow" of his own and told Infinite that he would be their commander... and that's why he was searching for some dead kid, and found Hops and Fuzz.
And got enraged because two kids were fans of heroes *rolls eyes*, so he signaled an Eggbot to grab them. Hops' whisp followed, an orange wisp he had named "Kat".
They weren't ready before Infinite fell against the Restoration, and Eggman lost his memory. They were still in their pods, tucked away from the war site, growing faster than they should have.
Then Starline arrived and restored Eggman's memories, who didn't remember his two little projects until the devastation caused by the metal Virus had been going on for two weeks. But now it was too risky to just go and check on them. He just ended up hoping the bots on that hideout were still making sure everything was okay until he could find a signal that worked.
And then he lost, bla bla bla time passed, idk i need to read the comics once my anxiety lets me read the Virus arc. Eggman disappeared for some time to check on his projects and was pleased to find everything was running as his calculations had predicted. That everything he had programmed his bots to countermeasure had been successful, and the two boys kept growing to the age of 15.

He kept the fights away from this hidden place, forcing himself not to put his logo on the "abandoned-looking" doors. His strongest bots were placed on the only "obvious" entrance. Everything had been planned to the utmost of his capability.
These weapons would get him the Emeralds and destroy Sonic's little group.
He created the wispon weapons the hare would need to fight. And decided to finally give them names.
As the hare had Wisp DNA, his wisp's DNA, yes Kat died and became part of Hops' genetic makeup, and the little thing that had followed the kid to his lair was orange, he could suppose it was one of the jet propulsion ones.

And the other boy, he was meant for destruction, to be the face everyone would fear, while the other one acts when no one's paying attention... Buster is the one.
Benoit Blanc wakes up in a hospital, quite beaten up. He doesn't recognize being transported to the hospital nor why he is covered in such injuries. He tries to get up to assess, but he realizes that he is handcuffed to the hospital bed. After the doctor checks on him, he is finally told by Philip that he is a suspect to a murder. The two leave the hospital and Blanc is on house arrest during the investigation by the police. He immediately tries to gather evidence and trace back his steps before he ends up in the hospital while he is on house arrest. But, the more he collects evidence and recollects his memory, he keeps reaching to only one conclusion; Benoit Blanc is the murderer.
Did Blanc commit a crime he has no memory to, or is he able to solve the mystery and find out who the actual murderer is and who wants him dead?

Apparently Guzma's starter was actually a Bulbasaur but for some reason he hid it. When backed into a corner in a battle after being reformed he admits, yeah he's got one more 'mon. Queue shocked Kukui in the background b/c he knows.
So Guz sends it out, its a Venusaur now, and real soft apologizes to it for neglecting it and promises he wont be like that anymore. Happy Venusaur tears as it's pet, then they kick ass.
Afterwards everyone gotta harass him for being such a softie and hiding such a cool Pokemon, he's pretty tsundere about it.

Fading into view the colors grow from a watercolor wash with flowing liquid pastels to bright vivid hues. People. Gowns. Music. Food. Everything falling into place more whimsical than the last. Dancers springing from the ground like floating flower petals, whisking each other a crossed the floor. She's never seen anything like it.
Eir's heard of these parties in fairy tales. Seen them in picture books. But never one herself. Wandering the polished stone floor she finds surprise after surprise. Huge cakes and desserts piled high with fruits and creams.
Drinks she couldn't identify. Instruments she couldn't place. It's only when she's pacing by the hall again does she catch sight of herself in one of many floor to ceiling mirrors. Unused to the long blue elegant gown and the sight of her hair held. Jewelry was a stranger to her but here it was as natural as it was on any of these other illusionary figures.
She no longer had a dirty or bruised face. Appearing every bit a lady of social worth. Scrutinizing each new piece of herself revealed in the mirror her eyes narrow and scrunch uncertain how she felt about it.
But something else catches her attention in the mirror. A face now just as familiar as her own almost obscured in the sea of bodies, his hair and eyes the same as they were before but now he's clad in Durin Blue and a stone circlet upon his brow.
The very picture of a dwarrow prince. In the ornate frame their eyes meet and a jolt travels through her. Eyes widening her stomach drops, hands twisting she slowly turns.
Finding him in the sea of people opposite the dance floor and again when their eyes meet it is like a clap of thunder. His eyes dark and captivating hold her completely spellbound.
Her arms cross a smile widens along her lips. Excitement. Anticipation. Anxiety. Giddiness. All pour like summer rain through her heart all at once. A storm she had no warning for. He lingers there, gaze darting between her and everywhere else. The floor. The ceiling. Other people. A shy but charming smile growing on his lips.
But every time he must have thought she wasn't looking and his eyes drift back to her another clap resounds in her chest. He was thunder and she was enjoying watching him storm.
But after a time she grows restless and decides it's time to challenge him. Her finger crooks beckoning him to follow her down one of the quieter corridors into the garden beyond. Far more suited for conversation and a summer storm.
