William S Burroughs with writer, photographer, & editor, Udo Breger, Lawrence Kansas,  March 19, 1992. Breger, among other things, published the underground magazine SOFT NEED, a collaboration he, Burroughs and Brion Gysin started in 1973. Earlier this year he published the final issue, SN#23,   which includes exclusive materiel from Burroughs and Brion Gysin as well as multi-media contributions by eighty international authors and artists.  (photo: Allen Ginsberg. It's a perfect horsnorme music example, so it's not relevant to link it to any musical styles. Same thing about the influences you may find it linked to nothing else than the music of the two protagonists which is allready a lot because they are quite eclectic.
