We called her DC and she ran our old group, dresca. There was a lot of individual shitty things she did, and this is by no means a “call out” post or anything, just working through all the horrible things she did to all of us. 

But I think the worst thing, aside from all the extremely selfish control freak shit she pulled, was the complete inability to talk to her about anything. She said her biggest fear was being a hypocrite, which basically just surmises who she is as a person, as she was the BIGGEST hypocrite I’ve ever known. She’d make fun of people who powerplayed but always ignored posts whenever she wanted something to happen, or demand we retcon stuff that SHE didnt want to happen. 

I definitely wasn’t an angel, the way I behaved, but the difference between me and DC is I actually came to realize I was wrong and made steps to apologize and change so I didnt keep acting like a fucking tool. I don’t think DC wanted to see herself as anything but a victim of circumstance. 

I honestly tolerated her bullshit way too long. She did a lot of damage to very good friends of mine. And if I ever tried to talk to her like a goddam adult, every single time WITHOUT FAIL she’d gaslight me and make it seem like I’m accusing her of “nothing”. She could never admit she did any wrong, would demand for us to be honest and open with her, and then when I asked the same of her she pissed fire everywhere and threatened to cut me out of her life and said I was being a bad friend. For. Wanting her to just talk to me about the fact that she was not doing great. 

I don’t really care if she’s changed. Go to hell, DC. I hope you live uncomfortable the rest of your life knowing how irreparably you fucked up with people who made the mistake of caring about you for a few years.

This is a redraw of a piece I did of Simon a whole 4 years ago, back when I first got my tablet. It's so crazy to think of how much has happened in that time, from an art standpoint and also from a personal standpoint. Simon was my doofy birdbrain back in Dreamscape. He was an excuse to be silly and act unconventional, given that he was a literal dinosaur man given life as a sapient humanoid. I miss Simon a lot but, i dunno, a part of me is glad I left him behind. Who knows where he would have grown to now?

It’s incredible to see how much can improve in four years. Wow.

This year actually marks 5 years since Percy first made his debut. I love this little dweeb, so I thought I would do him honour by drawing every Percy all together.

Percy the Gastly (aka, Percy Alpha)

It’s so weird to think that Percy started as an NPC! During the huge Pokemon vs Humans war in Dreamscape, Percy was a Gastly a group of scavengers located among the rubble in Pewter City. At first he didn’t even realize he was dead, and insisted on finding his trainer. Eventually, Percy befriended a trainer and helped her in the war effort.

HipsterPercysprite (aka Bird man. For birds)

This Percy wasn’t drawn more than once or twice back when I was super into homestuck. He was a kernel sprite created from a hipster seagull (whatever that is) and, of course, Percy. I really didn’t do anything with this design but it looked nice.

Percy the Ponyta (aka, Stay Cool Percy Boy)

During Percy’s first swap event, I thought it would be funny to turn him into a multi legged pokemon because he didn’t have legs at the time. So I made him a Ponyta centaur. Percy’s relationship with ponies started here and sometimes I ask myself how the hell that happened.

Eden Percival, (aka the gay half-ghost)

I joined an OCT back in 2012 and this was the result. This Percy (referred to as Percival) was a 15th century mercenary who got killed and ended up in limbo. Magical forces brought him back to life as a half-ghost, and he tried fighting for his honour or whatever. I’ve always been super proud of this design in general!

TYL Percy, (aka Brony Hell)

Set 10 years after the present Dreamscape, TYL let me ask myself “what would it be like to be a 17 year old ghost for 10 years?”. Percy turned into kind of a man child but this is where he started to shape into the Percy we know and love today.

Ekans Percy (aka TYE)

Alongside TYL, an alternate universe set ten years in an alternate past was also introduced to Dreamscape. This let me try my hand at a pre-death-not-even-a-brony Percy! I thought it would be fun to play into the “he didn’t have legs until he was a centaur” thing by giving him a snake lower half.

Domni Percy (aka Shadow the Percy)

The Dread plot was one of my favourite things in Dreamscape! It was a super great way to explore characters, Percy included. I got to ask myself “What does Percy repress? What won’t he share about himself?” Thus, his shadow/domni was born. This was the Percy he wish he could be; big, looming, intimidating.

Shadow Dusk Eclipse (aka My Little Domni)

Very early on while developing Percy’s shadow world I wanted his domni to be split into two distinct parts. Dusk Eclipse is Percy’s pony avatar, an extension of his being. In the shadow world, he was fearful and kicked around by the larger scarier domni. He represented a lot of the flaws Percy saw in himself.

Keldeo Percy (aka Mega Brony Percy)

I saw the opportunity with this swap and took it. Percy became the pony. He was the pony king.

Swoobat Percy (aka Rouge the Percy)

Another species swap, this one doesn’t have an interesting story behind it I just like Swoobat a lot aesthetically (and it has big ears like percy)

Domni Monster (aka Ghost Pony rider)

Of course, after denying that the shadow/domni, it would turn into a huge monster(we kinda stole this shit from Persona). I had a lot of fun trying to come up with something visually interesting! This was the result. The idea is that the monster had a huge flaming mane that actually hurt the tail (i guess it had separate pain registration or something). I looked up a lot of horse skulls while designing this guy.

Dusk Eclipse (aka My Little Ponysona)

After designing Percy’s domni pony, I figured I should figure out what his actual ponysona looked like. His talent was spooky pranks (hence the ghost cutie mark) and he was a unicorn. I thought he was p cute.

Zigzagoon Percy (aka Original Percy do not steal)

I decided to have fun this swap and gave Percy a very silly ability, Pickup. It made for a lot of in character fun as he would find stuff in his pockets seemingly out of nowhere (he didn’t realize he was picking things up wherever he went). It was fun.

Barghest Percival (aka Sexy Dreamboat)

So my best friend actually fell in love with Shadow Percy when i first designed him. When we decided to rp together she suggested I play Shadow Percy. So we adapted him to be some kind of wolf shapeshifter beast thing. A barghest is like a death hound! My friend was expecting a suave sexy wolf guy but this Percy was a big baby and it was kind of funny. ReSa Percy (aka New Percy Old Tricks)

Bringing Percy to ReSa had its issues. This Percy couldn’t be a ghost anymore, cause those weren’t a thing. So I was like “well gee how do I make this character work”. Instead, he ended up being a little dweeb who just really loved ponies and dreamed of being able to write for TV shows and movies! Dream big, little Percy.

Audino Percy (aka Pinksplosion)

Another Swap. I liked this design a lot.

Freelance Witch Percy (aka, Percy Present)

Current Percy is a ghost. He likes Tiny Horse. If you aren’t reading my webcomic (Freelance Witch), I would definitely recommend you do! (Shameless plug) I don't see Percy leaving me anytime soon, so here's to even more Percy!
