hello all. i am trying to make it a law in ontario to make it illegal to smoke in drive thrus, and here is my reasoning:

1. second hand smoking has been proven to harm people with enough exposure, and while you may think “tHeY aRenT iN tHe DriVe ThRoUgH tHaT LoNg” several people over the period of 3-10 hours.

2. it’s unpleasant to deal with - the smell gets stuck in your mask so you have to either deal with it (secondhand smoking!) or throw away the mask and get a new one (extra waste for no reason)

3. minors work in drive thrus.

i need help for several reasons - i have no idea how the fuck the law system works, and i need other people to agree with me to make it a law lol. anyway reboot/message me if you agree or are willing to sign a petition and/or have info for me!!

YEBBA, a.k.a. Abbey Smith is definitely one of the most awe inspiring singers I have ever come across. I promise you, she deserves to be Adele level famous.

I have been watching Sofar Sounds on YouTube for a while, and when they posted this video in December it was the greatest reminder as to why.

She effortlessly emotes every. Single. Word. It’s artistry and pure born ability dripping from her entire being, and I hate her for making me want to die from the sheer magnitude of her talent. But also, I love her and cannot express how amazing I think she is.

I dare you to watch this and not get chills, goosebumps, jaw dropped, tears or all of the above.

Once you’re done, go listen to Evergreen which she just released last week and be grateful that her voice exists while you’re alive.

Why don’t drive thrus have menus through the line? Like I’m sitting here waiting and I could be looking at the menu to decide what I want...instead of driving up to the speaker to order my food. “Hi, welcome to _____, what can I get you?” “I need a minute to look at your menu” Few seconds pass “What can I get for you today?” “I’ll have _____ and _____” “Is that everything?” “No,  there will be a few more items, he’s still deciding” etc etc. Like this is why your drive thrus lines take so long! How can you expect people to know what they want when the menu is only at the speaker.
