Beep Beep Beep!

Some days, are worse than others. 

Maybe some days I tend to notice it more. 

Some days, it seems to be happening all around me!

The world and everything in it seems to Beep, Bip or Barp at me and it can be so irritating! My alarm clock these days is my phone and it can make any sort of awful noise I’m silly enough to choose. Once I get up, the electric jug bips when the water’s boiled. My phone starts barping again when it’s time to go to work. At night and during the day microwaves beep beep. Shop doors barp as you walk through the door to alert the person behind the counter to, look sharp! Cars barp as they reverse. Trucks also BARP as they reverse, but they’re bigger, so they BARP louder! I can hear other people’s phones going off reminding them about who knows what and sometimes, as I leave the library the scanner I have to walk through lights up a treat, giving a loud sustained embarrassing beeeep that can be heard throughout the whole place and all because the assistant hasn’t swiped my books properly - I hate that! My washing machine politely bips when it’s finished a load, so does the dryer in winter. The car is a mine field! It bips if I open the door and leave the keys in the ignition or if I leave the lights on and even if I don’t put my seat belt on properly, but I can forgive it all this rudeness because it saves my getting into trouble for flattening the battery!

Oh for the silent life I used to live before all this smart technology came into existence to make things easier for me -.-
