I think overall, my favorite little worldbuilding detail from the Lady Penitent is that it canonically says some Drow use "dark spectacles" to protect their eyes from the harsh surface world light.

Out of the origin companions Wyll is Skjære's best friend. Considering their relationship reached "exceptional" level before anyone else. Even Skjære’s «bosom companions»

The sardonic drow appreciates the human's do-gooder personality more than he will ever admit. Deep down a part of him wishes he had it in him to be as openly heroic and selfless as he.

I can't stop thinking about drow drawing a comparison to third sons as an insult. e.g. "You have the countenance of a thirdboy" or something as a way of saying you're too stupid/unimportant to live for long.
