So a bit ago I bought the edition of Dragon Magazine that has the Drow naming table we all love and it finally arrived like two days ago.
It's got a lot of other Underdark stuff in it too like other races that live down there, possible alternate versions of the Underdark, some places to set stories in, etc. Lots of cool stuff that I'll probably post about when I get the chance
Anyways, here's the full Drow table in all it's January 2000 glory
I think overall, my favorite little worldbuilding detail from the Lady Penitent is that it canonically says some Drow use "dark spectacles" to protect their eyes from the harsh surface world light.

Fellow drow havers. Question for you all.
How did you name your drow? What was the thought process behind their name? I’m curious to know why y’all did what y’all did.
Idc how silly your process was. Idc if you picked randomly. Idc if you went on baby name websites. No answer is too silly or stupid, I wanna hear it!! Type a paragraph type a sentence, I truly just wanna know the process.
Skjære can't hide his smile as Wyll talks about his father, Duke Ravengaard. Reminiscing of his own old man.
Out of the origin companions Wyll is Skjære's best friend. Considering their relationship reached "exceptional" level before anyone else. Even Skjære’s «bosom companions»
The sardonic drow appreciates the human's do-gooder personality more than he will ever admit. Deep down a part of him wishes he had it in him to be as openly heroic and selfless as he.
A’lanti being normal
Do you think Menzoberranzan has their own version of Spiders Georg? Like some drow who thought swallowing spiders would bring them closer to Lolth
