"A thousand dreams in me make sweet burns:
Then at times my sad heart is like a sapwood
Bloodied by young and dark gold of the drippings."

What do I do?
What do you do when;
the sun doesn’t shine anymore for you,
and flowers bloom,
the breeze only chills you to the bone,
and all the food only keeps you going.
What do you do when;
all you cared for,
all you loved,
all you lived for,
leaves you.
Because it was all your fault.
Because you weren’t your best,
Because the person who said they loved you,
Just didn’t as much as you loved them.
Do you stop? Do you give in and die, Give in because you’re worthless?
Or do you go on?
Because you are worth it. Because you love like no other, because they were everything and now you are all you have?
I hope it’s the latter,
because you are worth it.
Love is worth it.
And you should love yourself;
you’re beautiful, amazing, astounding, awe-inspiring and all the other fantastic things you are.
They are missing out, and while you’re missing them, if they don’t miss the great person you are, did they ever LOVE you?
and with my life I don’t know what to do anymore
look it’s 3am again and you’re still not here -k.s.
“If Stars Could Lie”
If you asked the moon
If it would like to switch places
With the sun then I’m sure
It would surely switch faces
If you asked the water
To come to the land
Its tide would extend
On the green past the sand
If you asked the rain
If it was scared of the fall
Without a word it’d keeping dropping
And you’d know not at all
If you asked the stars
If they envied your eyes
They would love to say never
But stars never lie
I've had so much wine. I'm annoyed your name keeps crossing my mind. It unwinds, Like ribbons Before my eyes. Ties itself in knots But it's still readable. I'm annoyed. I'm annoyed it sits on the tip of my tongue and makes it heavy, Drooping out of my mouth In a sort of heavy panting. I'm annoyed. I try to drown out the sound of your voice From my ears It sears itself against my eardrum Reverberates off my brain Echoing off my vertebrae Into my stomach. So all I vomit up is your name. Heave. Your name. Heave. Your name. Your name. Your name. I've had so much wine and I just want a forget your name.
there's nothing quite
as beautiful as a
painting from the sky.

it's the life of
the sleepless city,
of paths that
never darken
after daylight;
of memories that
refuse to pass;
of fire's roaring,
heat forever rising;
it is an unbreakable
trail for you to
find yourself on
the way to the
paved yellow road.
