as someone who knows so many other people playing bg3 and romancing astarion (totally valid, he's hot af) i do love this blog bc i get to see so much gale love in the reblog tags. astarion has this beautiful character arc (or a devious dark turn) which i totally get is appealing, but i love the gale love. he's just this high intelligence, low wisdom nerd who's a hopeless romantic. the man is the poster child of "he would love you if you were a worm." although, i do think he would cast 'speak with animals' to try and figure out if you want to be a worm or not and go from there when it comes to a cure. if you want to be a worm, tho... he's all in. he'd make you a little terrarium and everything.
