My thoughts on DrunkJi

I think Lan Zhan likes to be drunk. He could learn Lan Xichen’s technique of using his golden core but he doesn’t.

Lan Zhan knows he does things he shouldn’t. (I’m not saying he remembers anything specifically.) You know, like when he woke up with a brand mark on his chest.

It’s hard for him to willingly break the rules, alcohol allows him to do it, without having to feel the guilt next day.

Also after Wei Ying returns, he looks after his drunk man. He doesn’t rub it in Lan Zhan’s face what he got up to, he plays it down. Fearing Lan Zhan won’t drink again, so that they can both have a little fun.
