i'm about to finish the project that i have been working on the last few years. i don't know what happens next. sometimes it feels like i'm floating and other times like i'm falling off a cliff

this morning i saw my first goslings of spring

a friend sent me his new book some months ago and for valid reasons i haven't read it yet. asking me about it would break the rules but knowing that that only makes my continued silence on the subject worse

some neighbor kids go door to door offering to take out your trash for a dollar but i have been paying them to draw monsters for me on old scraps of cardboard and they are fantastic

i think i am was have been coming down with something. my location in the cycle is not yet clear

i slept two hours later than usual this morning. i get concerned if this is a pattern, but it hasn't happened in a while, so i accepted it as a gift and got up

it was only after i had a cup of coffee that i remembered there was an hour in the middle of the night when i was sure i was going to throw up

i think i feel better but i also have an overwhelming need to go lay down now
